Set Pieces?

Recommended Posts

Hi, 2nd thread today. Bucket loads of questions to ask. :D

In FM training, does the set piece training affect the delivery only, or how the players attack the ball? I usually set set pieces to light for most of the players, and set to medium for my corner and free kick takers.

Please provide opinions, I really want my team to become more efficient in scoring from corners! Have been ***** since I got Southampton promoted to the epl. Need to become like Bolton!

Thanks in advance!

It's because of things like this, I wish to see the return of the training schedule where individual activities are out into a plan. On that system you would work on all areas of a Set Piece, from delivery, to attacking the ball as well as defending them.

Hey, thanks fmtc! I will try to tweak my tactics!

I agree with you gunner86, even thought i've never played a FM where you can do that. But I imagine that teams like Bolton and Stoke only become that efficient in their corners because they have extra training for this aspect.

Maybe sliding the "Tactics" training aspect will make them better at corners?

Sliders... they are a mystery...

A training plan with activities in... no mystery.

To me it seems a simpler idea, but I know a lot of people disagree.
