I know its not the best team in the world but only 2nd season at blackburn. Nearly had Diego but an 11th hour intervention by Utd stole him off me. Riquelme is 30 but was able to be purchased for 7 million only due to problems at his club. Got about 4.5 million left to spend. Any ideas? RB or CB? Also, there doesn't seem to be any DMC cover for Denilson. My team (2009/10): GK. Reina/Akinfeev LB. Marcela/Insua CB. Garay/Agger CB. Albiol/Breno RB. Alves/Finnan MC. Montvolio/Lucas MC. Mascherano/Gago AMC. Mattias Fernandez/Lulinha FC. Torres/Amauri FC. Augero FC. Owen/Kuyt I sold Gerrard to Madrid for 34M becasue he was unhappy, and Alonso wanted to a new challenge so he got sent off to Milan for 25M, the money from there, i got fernandez, Alvez (Who was transfer listed by request) and Gago, so i thought it was a pretty good deal. Would probably go for another Centre Midfielder who is world class, as Montolivo and Lucas arent exactly top draw. Someone like Pirlo or even Elano would be very good. Diaby is pretty useful aswell. 8.5/10. I am in January 2009 atm and in this transfer window i have signed Ben Arfa, Elano and Dani Alves. The money made from selling Lucho will be used to buy a replacement keeper. What you think ?
