There are sometimes recruitment drives to get extra managers into Beta but there are not any at the moment...so I recommend you sign up to a 'Live' GW

Wanting to try the game for free shouldnt be the reason for joining a Beta testing GW. You can do the free 21 day trials in a normal GW that are available if you want to try the game before paying.
