am in my ninth season now with santos fc... but i have noticed when you send scouts out to find players and they come back with 6 and 7 star players potential and they say to you "sign at all costs" so you do. and then after only a few months its goes down to a 3 or a 4. has anyone else noticed this problem?

I've been unable to reproduce the crash here, I'm afraid. I think something specific (and random) might have to occur during the match to trigger the crash.

Am I the only one but sometimes in games after I score a goal it freezes and stays like that till it clicks and switches off.
I don't know if it is the fact I use a lithium battery but it has happened twice when playing the same match and another few times as well.

If you have selected a player for the national team that you have loaned out when you press square to unpick them it keeps asking of you want to recall this player from loan, the only way you can unpick them is if you clear the whole squad

I will have a team sack their manager, eg Sunderland sacked Steve Bruce. A few weeks later my game says: 'Sunderland have appointed Steve Bruce as their new manager'. I didn't have this last year, but I'm getting it a lot this year. Has anyone else?

just been hit by the international selection bug AGAIN in the same same game thats about 5 times now!

Also just noticed that if you start a game with just english DB loaded Vagner Love is at CSKA Moscow but if you start a game in Brazil hes on loan to Palmeiras ( which he is IRL) so why put him on the english db incorrectly?

Thirdly just discovered a cheat when signing free agents you can negotiate their deals down low. Firstly offer them a contract with a wage that you know they will reject, when they do renegotiate it again but again go lower than what they want and offer it but then click square again to renegotiate it and the player will have lowered his demand down to what you offered you can do this a few times but they will stop eventually. I got a player wanting 11k down to 4k by doing this

Yes our testers have managed to reproduce some of the bugs you guys have listed here but some are still hiding.

They tend to fall into two categories: Repeatable ones that can be fixed (or all ready have been) or random/rare ones (most of the match ones fall into this category) which will take a lot longer to hunt down.

I can't go into any detail of course but we're working on all the issues on this thread, rest assured.

Cant understand how some transfers are completed.

Ive just bid 8m,9, 10, 12 and then 14 million which was accepted by Milan for Ronaldinho(Im Chelsea). I go to negotiate a contract with him and was willing to offer the maximum 140k p/w to get him but to my surprise he said i couldnt meet his demands so I pulled out of the deal. So imagine my surprise when i see that Ronaldinho has sign for Koln for 6.25m on a contract of 24k p/w! Really dont understand that Koln arent even in europe where as i am in the CL. Ive seen this a few times now Ive had massive bids turned down by other teams bids that are less than mine get accepted.

Am I the only one who thinks that is a bit odd?

Also noticed a few deal falling through as they have failed medicals but when ive checked their availability thers is nothing wrong with them

Have you experienced this early in your career or after a few years? Names of players would be helpful it has happened early on.

Replaying the match I didn't get this bug back. Probably it was random. I hope it will never come back.

"No Transfer Windows" is an unlock rather than a cheat. Until we're sure it's best not to rule anything in or out. If you manage to find a player who fails the medical for no apparent reason and have a save game where it can be reproduced, please let me know

its already been stated that there will be NO patches released and all efforts are now being done to correct these bugs for 2011

For this I would say that in negotiating for a fee higher than the buying club wishes to pay, you are effectively rejecting their initial offer. Has the above news message appeared before the buying club have pulled out of the deal?

no but it only happens every now and again sometimes a player isnt bothered and other times they become unhappy even if its the same player. Also sometimes you have to negotiate the deal as your player could be worth 1m but the other club have offered less for him

OK, are you able to provide any examples of players (and their in game value), who have been subject to bids below their value, where they become unhappy once it is negotiated. If this is happening then I would agree it is something that should be looked at

now back to my club(posh)i was playing man u, and i always go to the performance screen to see my players scores..i had a man u midfielder in my team and a VILLAREAL striker in my team,,now i did just play him for england..

anyway i quit england after 1 match and it seems alright now..pity 2 years away from the world cup..

I've just started playing FMH 2010 properly for the first time. I've been playing for an hour, and I've had the game freeze and shut down my PSP three times. Once when asking me if I wanted to scout a player, once when being asked if I wanted to loan a player out, and once during a match, around 6 minutes in. I honestly can't remember the last time (if ever) that a previous FMH game froze and shut down my PSP, and now it seems that FMH 2010 is going to do it all the time. If this keeps happening then I am going to have to go back to FMH 09, although I can't imagine that I could get a refund for FMH 2010 from the store I bought it from just because it is full of bugs.

Any advice SI? Or anyone?

ridley with the international player problem, if the player is on loan at a different club, go onto his player screen and either demote or premote ( not sure which one it is) the player. then go back onto the international club, and you can pick him without the game prompting you to recall the loan.

What do you mean by "make a few changes" please?
If you're using a changes.txt can you upload it with a save game as well?

ive noticed when ever ive made 3 changes to the squad eg removing players and then went to international selection straight after it crashes.

Im using the changes file that has been uploaded by mightyowl and i havent sent i over as it never reproduces when i restart the game always fine the 2nd time around.

Just had it again but this time at the beginning of the month after removing 3 players and going to replace them

just happened AGAIN! 30/08/2017 removed 1 injured player went to replace him via squa selection and the game crashed again. Im just not going to use the squad selection now as its starting to get to the stage no where i just cant be bothered redoing a months work evey couple of months when it crashes

I discovered this can be fixed when you change teams (take another job on the save!)

Are you running the latest firmware on your PSP?

Yes, every time I go into the Newcastle v Colchester match, at some point during that match it freezes and shuts down. I have Firmware 6.00. It seems there is a 6.20. I have a big old-style PSP, so do I download the PSP-X000 download or the PSPgo download of firmware 6.20 do you know? And once I have the eboot file, do you know where I need to copy it?

Im Man Utd and have just bid for a Stevenage player(hes a regen) hes valued at 5k and has a big club clause release in his contract, so i bid 5k and got the usual message about how they couldnt reject my bid due to the clause in his contract. 2 days passed an i get a message saying the Stevenage HAD rejected my bid so i checked his contract to see if the clause was still there and it was so offered more but didnt get the message this time done this a few times and then i canceled my bid and put in another bid again for 5k and this time got the message only for it to be rejected again

I tried to send it to the FTP but it just kept saving it to my desktop so do you want me to email this over instead?

well i've made some changes to my liverpool team with changes.txt file, and i cannot really quit the game now. Because if i quit the game, to play something else then when i want to play football manager again and load my game backup. The players names that i have edited get messed up?? Like Jay Spearing's name becomes Steven Own???

When i change my tactic to my created 4 - 3 - 3, confirm it and then go back on to tactic's it's change back to the default 4 - 3 - 3, i have to change my tactic at the beginning of every match


and why is their more south american based players(outside of brazil) when you load up england only then brazil only? should be the other way around

I'm playing in the Brazilian league and just noticed that Ipantiga are ahead of Figueirense, Guarani and Atletico Goianiense even though they have -5 GD and the other 2 teams have +2, 0 and -1 respectively.

All those teams are on 11 points and all have played 10 games with 2 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses apart from Ipantiga who have 3 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses.

dono if this is a bug, but i would really like to see more decisive assistant managers! lets say he tells me i need to improve my midfield, and he gives me 3 recommended players. just as i begin talks with one of them, i check in for his advice again and now all the 3 players are changed! then he ends up giving me so much players that i dono who to pick! also the scouting should be improved; if i scout with a team like taranto in serie c1/b i definately cant afford these 15mil superstars they recommend to me. its like scouting is for big and rich teams only! finally, i would like to see the assistant manager's coaching ability be improved. lets say i let him take the friendlies while im busy creating tactics and training schedules, renewing contracts, working the budget, and being active on the market. but i definately dont want to see him returning to my office after embarrasing my world-class team with a 1-0ish loss to some third division side. the assistant managers need to know what they're doing, like in championship manager. u can never underestimate the ability of an assistant manager! overall, thanks for the great game SI!

My game won't load, for the second time in a matter of weeks! This has never happened to me in the past versions (well probably once, but it was rare). I like the game, but really, these crashes are just making it hard for me to go back and start a new career because I have to worry about when my file won't load up again.

1st career file: I was 2nd in the National with Amiens in October or November of my first season when I got the first 'game won't load'.

2nd career file: I won the National in my first season with Amiens. Got to 6th place in Ligue 2 (2nd season) around November/December before this file wouldn't load. I remember telling Marc that I'd make a duplicate of my file in case it would happen again. Well, both files didn't load this time.

Is FMH unplayable or what?! I usually don't complain here, but this is just ridiculous.

Minor issues, World Player of the year was won by the anonymous Nicolas Frutos, an Argentinean/Italian striker plying his trade for Anderlecht.

Six pages of players available for loan, only five of those players aren't goalkeepers.

It is the 2D, I had it on the lowest setting in my third season as Chelsea and as soon as I disabled it I got through.

I have a problem with my brothers game save, the save loads but when he goes to the first match it has frozen 6 times now. I have uploaded the save to the FTP server:

I made a mistake in renaming it and it is called ULES01338FMHSVG00

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ed, mine would be random but in the same match yet I got through once but it did it next match.

Just 6.00 and I gave logos and a lith battery however, I tried a different save slot and it still didn't work with the only possible solution taking the 2D pitch off with that sorting it with me being 2 years futher in.
