    Default Install now activate later?

    I've installed offline, can I activate through steam later so I don't have to use the disc or will I have to re-install the game?

    I'm pretty sure there is an option in steam to migrate the game. So you won't have to re-install.

    seems like it would be possible to patch the game then migrate it over for activation then so i wont have to download the patch twice.

    Hello

    I have 2 choices, steam or through dvd. Steam has automatic updates and exclusive downloads (what are these?)

    which one would you recommend picking?
