Tree Menu is in the past i'm afraid! The new interface certainly takes a little getting use to, but you'll grow to love it (maybe)

It's fairly easy for skin makers to create a version of the default skin with a tree menu replacing the tabs so I'm sure there will be one available eventually

I didn't like the tree being removed at first but navigation is so much easier and quicker than the past. It'll take about 1/2 hours to get used to it.

Indeed it is. I don't like the new layout but then I haven't really played the game yet.

I expect to get used to it after a while.

There already has been an official word.

If you don't use STEAM, you won't be able to use that skin.

If you do, you will get the skin with the tree menu.

You will get an fm10 version of the fm09 skin with STEAM. I'm pretty sure it comes without a tree menu though I can't be 100% certain

There are also extra benefits this year from installing via STEAM. One of these will be a STEAM exclusive skin, which is an updated version of the FM09 skin (including tree menu) which will be available a few weeks after launch.

To be fair to Robbie S he's not seen what the skin is going to be like as it's not finished yet

And to clarify it will look like the default skin in Football Manager 2009 but updated in places to support the new screens in FM 2010. Things like the Calendar bar are not included on it.

I'm getting lost with the new interfere. It takes me longer than most to get used to a new skin.

I'll be switching to the FM09 skin if I don't get used to it for a while. It's like night and day switching between FM09 and FM10 demo.

I know what you mean - I tried going back to FM09 a couple of weeks back for a screenshot and kept losing everything

I was lost for a while, but once I got engrossed in tactics and match days I didn't even notice that I was finding my way around the layout without thinking.

If you ACTIVATE with Steam , you get this 'steam' theme , I think it will be pasted on the web somewhere though for download.

I've got a good 3-4 hours of play time in tonight, and I'm still not fully used to it.

I will admit that I can slowly feel myself adjusting to it though. Within a week or two it'll be hard to go back to the old style.

i think its absolutely quality and im a big fan of this change around with the new layout....top marks to s.i, loving the demo and even more excited for the real game now!

no please, tree menu made things harder when you play online or network with the lag. This is what I call improvement!
