TheGulls Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 has any one ever won the league cup with a league one or league two team?? be quite an achievemant if anyone has I won the FA cup with Salisbury when I was at the top of League 1, however I had a very easy route only meeting 1 Premier League team (Portsmouth) in the final and beating them 1-0 with a rather dubious penalty. After 10 seasons playing I have Salisbury in the Championship and Have Won 5 league titles, 1 FA Cup & 3 Johnstone Paint Trophys. But alas no League Cup.
