Why is it no matter how many good players i buy, the assistant manager still thinks certain areas that are the weakest ?? abit unrealistic ?

"The weakest" doesn't mean they are weak. They just are not off the standard then the rest of your players.

What team are you and who is your assistant? Perhaps you need a better assistant.

im using man utd, assistant manage is mike phlean.

May I suggest that, don't rely on your assistant 100%. Take his opinion then look into scouting reports on that player and then add your judgement. I had few players in my team (on a previous save) whom my assistant rejected as poor player. But with help of a good rotation policy [I do have one ] they produced decent performances as backup players. One of them had poor CA/PA.

But still I managed an average 6.7+ performance over the season in 10 games. Thats not bad at all. I was playing a BSP team though.
