Does this always happen?

Downloaded an update and Kaka is at Real Madrid due to Mr Pellegrini's preferred tactic being a 4-4-2 with 2 DMs, Kaka never plays its the 27th of January and he has not been injured and has started 2 games and had 6 sub appearances. This seems strange to me does this mean managers will pick their players based on who fits their formation rather than ability or what?

same happened with my game. He was sold to fiorentina for 10million after 1 season!

yeah he never seems to be selected in the team in my game as well!!! pah but madrid always rejects my bid, i'm atletico by the way so unsurprising!

yeah it's the same problem with diego for juve... he has stats like gods on my database, but I guess I'll have to snatch both him and Kaka
