HELP: Fm issues :/

I have installed the demo on my netbook, used the compatability patch 9.1.0 and even added the -windowed_small_screen fix. I have all the necessary system specs apart from the video card ram.
This however isn't a problem as i installed it previously (before my entire computer got reset) and it worked fine. I have installed the direct sdk from microsoft.
It now does not open and when i click on the shortcut again it says the program is already running.
I go into windows task manager and sure enough it is there in my processes.
Please help

It's just a patch from the fm site but ill try running it in full screen rather than normal window
Nopes, fm manager is still already running, it's not even in processes either :/

Thanks guys, yeah i would buy the full game but it's a waste of £30 if it doesn't work - hense why i downloaded the demo :/
