Has anybody ever seen something as ridiculous/laughable as this?

While I was having a look at the Transfer Rumours page, I saw this:

Funny Thing (Inside Red bit)

Now, I thought this was odd, because the player is 31 years old, so I had a look at the player and he is worth £2.5m and is pretty average

Btw Portsmouth don't have any money and I would love this to go through - it'll bankrupt them . But somehow I think this is 'just a rumour'

Anyone else seen something like this before, and has it ever happened?
