Ricky Nakano - Senegal Manager.

My name doesn't exactly match my job...a Canadian/Hong Kong manager, who hasn't even set foot into Africa, becoming manager of one of the top 50 greatest footballing countries in the world...I don't even know any of the players...well outside of El-Hadji Diouf, and that Hoffenheim striker...

Senegal have already clinched the top spot of Group 6 in the World Cup Qualifiers (Africa) 2nd Round. First game is against Gambia.

Internationals in 2008-2009

October 10, 2008

Senegal vs Gambia

WIN 5-2

Good to get the first game out of the way, with an easy opponent. I would know Mamadou Niang's name from that game on...

World Cup Qualifying (Africa) 2nd Round

World Cup Qualifying (Africa) 3rd Round

Senegal were put into Group 5, with Nigeria, Togo, and Rwanda. I was a bit uneasy about this group, as I actually knew some Nigerians...probably would have preferred Group 2 (Ghana, Tunisia, Benin, Burkina Faso) or Group 4 (Mali, Egypt, Kenya, Angola), but I'm sure my players would be up to the challenge...

March 28, 2009

Nigeria vs Senegal

LOSE 1-2

Nigeria were dominating from the start, and before long, we were down 2-0. I did adjust in the 2nd Half, but the red card pretty much sealed our fate. The head to head games against Nigeria will determine who gets to play in the World Cup.

June 6, 2009

Senegal vs Rwanda

WIN 3-0

Pretty much what I expected.

September 5, 2009

Senegal vs Togo

WIN 3-0

Didn't expect to win like how I dominated Rwanda, but the most important game is the next one at home, against Martins, Yakubu, Enyeama, Yobo, Shittu, etc...

September 9, 2009

Senegal vs Nigeria

DRAW 2-2

Devastated. :( I pretty much knew my chances to taking Senegal to South Africa was over...

October 10, 2009

Rwanda vs Senegal

WIN 4-1

October 14, 2009

Togo vs Senegal

WIN 3-1

World Cup Qualifying (Africa) 3rd Round

Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Mali also going to the World Cup.

Senegal News

  • Henri Camara (Plymouth) has 100 caps for Senegal.

While managing for Senegal, I was also itching to enter club management. I applied to various managerial posts, before a Northern Irish club, Dundela, approached me to become manager near the end of the 2008-2009 season. They accepted my request to wait till the end of the season, as I wanted to expand my options and see what other jobs were out there. Soon enough, Lisburn Distillery, who were just relegated from the Northern Ireland Premier Division, contacted me and wanted me to become their manager. I accepted their offer, and looked forward to bringing them back to the Premier Division.

---

I'm nearly finished my first season at Distillery, so hope to get an update done over the weekend at the latest. I am also in the African Cup of Nations 2010 with Senegal, so there been an update on that as well.

Unlucky rancer, it was always going to be tough with Nigeria in your group. Let's hope your team can fair better next time

Thanks.

African Cup of Nations group: Guinea, Togo, and Angola. :)

Oh, and my goal for this career game is to get full scouting knowledge for all the new countries I'm 'visiting'. So I'm not leaving Senegal until I get full knowledge, and same thing with Distillery and Northern Ireland knowledge, unless I, of course, get sacked lol. :)

2010 African Cup of Nations (Host: Angola)

Group D - Senegal, Angola, Guinea, Togo

January 17, 2010

Angola vs Senegal

WIN 7-0

Fantastic result. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard...

January 22, 2010

Senegal vs Guinea

LOST 0-1

...or maybe not. A disappointing result considering our fantastic result in game 1.

January 28, 2010

Senegal vs Togo

WIN 2-0

With Togo leading us by a point heading into the last game, this game was a must win, and win we did. :)

Group D Final Standings

So I finished 2nd in the group, not what I wanted, but good enough to advance to the Quarter-Final, where I face Cameroon, one of the best African footballing nations out there...

February 1, 2010 - African Cup of Nations Quarterfinal

Senegal vs Cameroon

WIN 2-0

Fantastic result. Cameroon were dominating most of the game, but we scored when it counted. Now onto the Semis!!!

February 4, 2010 - African Cup of Nations Semi-final

Ghana vs Senegal

WIN 2-1

Yes, yes, yes, another win! It took extra time to defeat Ghana, and I was relieved at the end...Tunisia defeated Mali 2-1 in the other semi. I must not underestimate them in the final...

February 7, 2010 - African Cup of Nations Final

Tunisia vs Senegal

WIN 2-0 :D

We won the African Cup of Nations!!! :D

I'm also 12th in the African Roll of Honour. :D

Great work by everyone on the team. The game against Guinea was a dose of reality that we would need to work hard, and we proved the pundits wrong through this African Cup of Nations win!!!

And Senegal have moved up 16 places to 15th in the World Rankings. We are now the 2nd best African nation, behind Cameroon (13th).

Well done rancer a major trophy in your first few years! This will hopefully set the trend for the rest of your career. Good Luck!

Thanks. I didn't have a lot of expectations going into this tournament, other than just getting out of the group. Didn't have any confidence after the Guinea game. The better team won that day. Guinea wanted to more that game. Otherwise, my team worked hard. A common theme is that I don't have enough possession of the ball.

Next update will probably be an end of the season update with Distillery in Northern Ireland. I hope that with this African Cup of Nations win, more club teams will notice me, and I can find a better job than in the Northern Ireland First Division once I have filled my Northern Ireland knowledge bar. :D

The African Cup of Nations win and my increase in reputation have now given me some options to look over in the summer. Reports have said that teams like Bielefeld (German 2nd Division), Hull (English Championship), FC Zwolle (Dutch Eerste Divisie), and S. Urfaspor (Turkish First Division) are all interested in my services. I believe that most are probably bogus, and I am strongly leaning towards staying with Distillery for another year, but it's nice to be in the news and being wanted. :)

Well done on winning the African Cup of Nations, that's a good way to start your career. Now all you need to do is get away from Northern Ireland.

I see you've got China loaded, if Rizhiquan come calling would you be able to resist? :D

That's what I'm waiting for tbh. :D

Hangzhou got promoted to the Jia League the first year, so I'll have to wait another year. I'll see what happens in December 2010. :D

2009-2010

Lisburn Distillery

Northern Ireland - First Division

Media Prediction: 1st

Finishing Position: 1st

Irish Cup: lost in Quarter Final (lost 7-6 on penalties to Ballinamallard United)

League Cup: lost in 3rd Round (3-4 on aggregate to Linfield)

Antrim Cup: lost in 1st Round (3-4 to Crusaders)

Antrim Trophy: Winners

Intermediate Cup: Winners

Squad

Squad

This is basically my team. I had to trial most of my team, and signed the ones that I wanted to permanent contracts. The team that got relegated were on high wages, and were basically...crap!

Transfers

Transfers

Like I said, all the players I signed were on trial at the club first. Sold Shaw, Kilmartin, and Matthews because they were on high wages, and weren't in my plans long term. Really pleased someone wanted 35 year old Matthews, and the $120k price, although not all upfront.

Future Transfers

Nothing much, just a new left back, and my backup goalkeeper leaving. (Ignore the job offer thing...)

Finances

Finances

Actually made a profit in Northern Ireland. :D

Key Players

GK - Mark Cousins

MC - Michael Pook

MC/MR - Ryan McCann

ST - Curtis Allen

ST/AML - Lewis Killeen

Club Information

Overview

Stadium/Facilities

Goals for the Future

  • Top half in the Premier Division, and hopefully fighting for a European spot
  • Cut wages

And as you all can see, I'm also tracking my youths. However, I'm not going to actively track them since I'll be switching clubs a few times.

On the Senegal front, we are now 9th in the World Rankings!!! The best football team in Africa. :D

It's nearing the July transfer window, and I have already been offered a job at a Norwegian First Division club (which I rejected). Shandong just fired their manager, and I'm rumoured to be the leading candidate to take over...

And I've just been offered the Shandong job...I need to think things over...I've always wanted to manage in China (I got over 40 years experience managing there :p) but it's a bit early for me. It's a high risk, high reward job. I'll have to win the league next season.

Link to post

I have officially rejected the Shandong offer ($125k per year for 4 years) with a $6.75 mil transfer budget and $4.2 mil wage budget.

I seriously think that Distillery have what it takes to get into Europe this season, or at least a mid-table spot. Shandong had some serious holes to fill, and I'll have to do a total rebuild of that team...I'm personally not ready to go to Asia yet.

Job offers already coming in! Great work so far and let's hope you can manage to claim a European spot by the end of the year.

Thanks. :)

This is probably my last year in Northern Ireland, regardless of whether I make Europe or not. I reckon a move to an English or German club would be nice. Of course, this is subject to change, depending on the season goes. :D

I'll probably be doing monthly reports on Distillery this season.

September 7 (Antrim Cup Quarter Final) - Glentoran 2-2 Distillery (We win 7-6 on penalties)

Standings

A good season so far. Haven't lost yet. Would want more wins than draws though...

October 2010

Lisburn Distillery

2nd: vs Linfield - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Curtis Allen, Michael Pook

A fantastic result. We've played Linfield a few times, and they always were a tough opponent. We controlled the entire game.

6th: vs Dungannon - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Lewis Killeen, Ryan McCann

The chances between the two sides were even for most of the match before Killeen tallied in the 64th minute, and McCann scoring in the 80th minute to give Distillery the win

16th: at Glenavon - Premier Division (D 0-0)

Neither of the teams could muster up any scoring chances.

19th: vs Larne - Antrim Cup Semi Final (W 4-0) - Lewis Killeen (2), Curtis Allen, Neal Gawley

We scored 3 goals in the first 17 minutes and went on cruise control from there

23rd: vs Coleraine - Premier Division (D 2-2) - Curtis Allen, Paul Hamilton

A disappointing result. We led 2-0 after halftime, only for Coleraine to come back to draw the game, assisted with a Paul Hamilton own goal in the 81st minute.

27th: at Dungannon - League Cup 3rd Round 1st Leg (L 0-1)

We held the Dungannon squad in check until Callum Kennedy needlessly gave the opposition a penalty.

Standings

Still occupying an European spot at least.

Link to post

Should have gone to Shandong ;) But at least you're going well in NI, if you qualify for Europe I'm sure you'll be tempted to hang around for another few months, until you get knocked out.

Finally, someone has questioned my insanity in rejecting 7 figure wage and transfer budgets, along with a 1000% increase in salary. :D

I don't think I can see myself staying at Distillery after June 2011. If there's a job opening in England or Holland that I fancy, I'll take it. And maybe the Rizhiquan opening if there is one. :D

N. Ireland is an easy place to rack up the trophies so you could stay there and pad out your rep abit

I don't necessarily need to stay in Northern Ireland, since I have Senegal, the best international team in Africa, to boost up my rep. :D

It all depends on the job openings in December 2010 (for the summer leagues), and late June 2011. If nothing interests me, I'll stay. I'm not leaving any other time of the year, unless it's too good to turn down.

Try to manage Shamrock Rovers some time during your career.

Bring back the glory days :o

Ye the quality is pretty shocking altough I shouldnt be so critical, my cousin plays for Glentoran.

All of the N, Irish teams have been beaten badly in Europe this year.

Northern Ireland Premier Division has the lowest league rep among playable European nations. They do bad in Europe pretty much every year. :p

And what's your cousin's name? Maybe I'll try and sign him. :D

Dean Fitzgerald isn't in my game anymore. :(

And I know you're talking bout RL...

Most of the Northern Ireland national team play for English and Scottish sides. Their own FA don't even think about players in their domestic league. :p

November 2010

3rd: at Cliftonville - Premier Division (W 1-0) - Lewis Killeen

A Lewis Killeen goal from a penalty in the 11th minute was enough in a rather dull match.

6th: at Glentoran - Premier Division (L 0-2)

All good things must come to an end...and two goals by Gary Hamilton snapped my unbeaten streak in league play.

9th: vs Linfield - Antrim Cup Final (L 1-2) - Michael Allen

Went behind 2-0 on another own goal by Paul Hamilton, and a goal by Mark McAllister. I switched to an all out attack in the 2nd half, but only scored one goal.

13th: vs Loughgall - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Michael Pook, Lewis Killeen

Distillery went back to their winning ways against a struggling Loughgall squad.

24th: vs Dungannon - League Cup 3rd Round Leg 2 (W 2-1) - Lewis Killeen, Mark Cousins

The 2nd leg of my league cup fixture against Dungannon was uneventful - Dungannon scored on a penalty late in the game, and I was scrambling to try and find 2 goals. Alas, I only found one, but at least it was scored by my goalkeeper. :D

Standings

Still hanging around an European spot. Pretty sure Linfield will overtake me, but as long as I keep winning, I'll be alright. (easier said than done! :p)

December 2010

Lisburn Distillery

1st: vs Crusaders - Premier Division (W 1-0) - Lewis Killeen

We dominated this match, but only came up with one goal. Thankfully it was enough for the win.

4th: at Ballymena Utd - Premier Division (L 1-3) - Curtis Allen

Worst game of the year so far. We didn't create many opportunities.

8th: at Newry - Premier Division (D 0-0)

Quite disappointing match as Newry are in a relegation playoff position.

11th: vs Portadown - Premier Division (D 1-1)

Portadown scored a late goal, as we failed to take all the points again.

18th: vs Cliftonville - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Curtis Allen (2)

I was looking at another draw, until Allen scored two goals late in the game for the win.

22nd: at Linfield - Premier Division (L 1-2) - Jamie Day

Jamie Day scored to take an early lead, but Linfield fought back, and scored a total fluke goal in the 86th minute.

28th: at Dungannon - Premier Division (W 2-1) - Ryan McCann, Michael Pook

Two early goals were just enough to get a win.

Standings

Technically, we're in 4th...I hope I can find a good striker on a free somehow.

January 2011

Lisburn Distillery

1st: vs Glentoran - Premier Division (D 1-1) - Lewis Killeen

We outchanced Glentoran everyway possible. We had 8 shots on target to their 1. :(

5th: at Coleraine - Premier Division (W 1-0) - Sandy Nairn

A penalty kick was good enough to give us 3 points.

8th: vs Ards Rangers - Irish Cup 5th Round (W 2-1) - Ryan McCann, Rob King - YP1

Should have dominated, but a goal in extra time by YP1 gave me a deep sigh of relief and we advanced to the 6th Round.

12th: at Crusaders - Premier Division (L 0-1)

We had no business winning this rivalry game, and the better team won on this day.

15th: at Loughgall - Premier Division (D 1-1) - Lewis Killeen

Fell behind in the 58th minute, but the ref gave us 2 penalties. Unfortunately, Killeen missed one of them.

22nd: vs Glentoran - Premier Division (W 3-0) - Michael Pook (2), Lewis Killeen

Fantastic result against the league holders. Pook scored two early goals, and Killeen scored on a penalty.

26th: vs Newry - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Lewis Kileen, Chris Kennedy

Another expected win, and new signing ST Chris Kennedy got his first goal at the club.

Standings

Sitting in a solid 3rd place. And I'm nearly out of debt. :D

February 2011

Lisburn Distillery

2nd: at Portadown - Premier Division (W 3-0) - Ryan McCann, Lewis Killeen, Johnny Monaghan - YP2

Wasn't exactly a dominating game, but we scored when the shots were on target...

5th: at Ballymena Utd - Irish Cup 6th Round (W 3-1) - Lewis Killeen, Johnny Monaghan - YP2, Paul Hamilton

The game was tied at 1 going into extra-time. Ballymena were down a man due to injury, and we capitalized on the man advantage.

12th: vs Ballymena Utd - Premier Division (D 0-0)

A dull match with no real scoring opportunities for either team.

19th: at Cliftonville - Premier Division (W 1-0) - Jamie Day

Both teams had 3 shots in total, but a Jamie Day strike in the 26th minute was enough to take 3 points.

Standings

A solid 3rd place. I've signed the core of the team to a new contract. The rest of the team will be evaluated at the end of the season.

March 2011

Lisburn Distillery

5th: vs Dungannon - Premier Division (W 2-0) - Sandy Nairn, Michael Pook

We peppered Dungannon with over 20 shots (although only 6 on target) and got 2 goals in the latter half of the game to keep up with the rest of the top 4 teams.

12th: at Glenavon - Premier Division (L 2-3) - Michael Pook, Curtis Allen

Trevor Molloy scored 2 goals for Glenavon, and an own goal by Paul Hamilton proved to be the difference maker in this match.

16th: vs Portadown - Irish Cup Quarter Final (W 2-1) - Curtis Allen, Chris Kennedy

Two early goals by Allen (5th minute) and Kennedy (11th) was enough to win the cup match against Portadown despite GK Mark Cousins scoring an own goal.

19th: vs Coleraine - Premier Division (D 1-1) - Michael Allen

A disappointing result as I failed to take all the points at home for some breathing room for the 3rd spot.

22nd: vs Linfield - Premier Division (L 0-2)

Mark Miskimmon scored 2 goals for Linfield as Distillery are now level on points with Cliftonville.

25th: vs Ballyclare - Irish Cup Semi Final (W 5-2) - Lewis Killeen, Chris Kennedy, Jamie Day (2), Michael Cummins

Was a bit annoyed after it was tied 2-2 going into extra time, against a First Division club and my feeder club no less. So I gave a 10 minute (beep) tirade, and my team scored 3 goals in extra time to advance to the final -- against Linfield.

Standings

Still in 3rd place. We aren't officially in Europe, so I still have to keep winning next month. The H2H game against Cliftonville is a must win, although the 3rd and 4th place teams to go the Europa League 1st Qualifying Round anyways, but 3rd place is better than 4th place. :)

April 2011

Lisburn Distillery - The Home Stretch

9th: vs Glentoran - Premier Division (W 8-0) - Curtis Allen (3), Lewis Killeen, Sandy Nairn, Michael Cummins, Neal Gawley, Ryan McCann

What a beating! Fantastic result. :D

16th: at Cliftonville - Premier Division (D 2-2) - Lewis Killeen, Michael Pook

Followed up the beating with an average performance. We didn't lose any points at least.

19th: vs Glenavon - Premier Division (W 5-1) - Jamie Day, Chris Kennedy, Michael Cummins, Michael Pook, Curtis Allen

Didn't have much possession (43%), but we still scored FIVE!

23rd: at Ballymena Utd - Premier Division (L 0-3)

Didn't have much possession (43%), and we got horribly outplayed...

30th: vs Linfield - Irish Cup Final (W 2-1) - Lewis Killeen, Curtis Allen

Yes! Irish Cup Champions!!! :D

May 2011

3rd: at Linfield - Premier Division (L 2-3) - Callum Kennedy, James Hancox

Linfield scored 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd half. Quite disappointing as we would have finished 2nd if I won this match.

Standings

Full update coming up. :)

I just realized that Rizhiquan are now playable in the 2011 season. They haven't fired their manager yet though. :D

On the job front, nothing interesting of note as of June 19, 2011.

And I'm actually in the Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round because I won the Irish Cup. :D

8-0 v Glentoran!!! Amazing result. I always struggled when playing them, they always seemed to be my bogey team when i was managing in N.Ireland.

And well done on claiming the Irish Cup

Like you say, if you do decide to leave, make sure you take Johnny Monaghan with you. He looks pretty decent :D

My bogey team in Northern Ireland seems to be Ballymena Utd. I cannot beat them consistently. I've had better times against Linfield as you can see. :D

Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round: vs Zeta (Macedonia)

So hopefully we do well, and maybe, with luck (and a bit of skill) move on to the next round! It's before July 1st, so I'll play a couple more games at the minimum as Distillery manager.

I'll try JSalter. :p

I'm planning to stay at least until my European campaign is over (I know it won't be long before I get knocked out :D)

Job Search

July 1st: Rangers (Scotland), Gladbach (Germany), Chelmsford (BSS), Marine (BSN), Tiverton (BSS) - maybe a bit of interest in Gladbach, but for now, I rather stay at Distillery with these options. I prefer a move to England (League One, League Two, or BSP side)

July 2nd: offered a new 3 year contract at $34.5k per year. Accepted (for now anyways)

July 2nd: Gladbach job gone, St. Pauli post open (Germany)

July 3rd: Stromsgodset (Norway), Chelmsford (BSS), Marine (BSN), Tiverton (BSS) - I'll keep looking...

July 5th: Applied for Valerenga (Norway) job. The board are seething. :D

July 6th: Valerenga application unsuccessful. Only BSN and BSS jobs left.

July 8th: no jobs of note

July 10th: I'm done with job searching for now. There's nothing that I fancy moving to of note.

June 2011

30th: vs Zeta (Montenegro) - Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round 1st Leg - (D 0-0)

We were outplayed, but we didn't concede. Now comes the challenging 2nd leg...

July 2011

7th: at Zeta (Montenegro) - Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg - (L 0-2)

Pretty even match, but Zeta scored when they needed to.

16th: vs MK Dons (League One) - Friendly - (W 4-0) - Wayne Gray* (2), Curtis Allen, Lee Crocker OG

I was shocked by the result. We beat a League One side 4-0. :D

20th: vs Norwich City (League One) - Friendly - (W 1-0) - Ryan McCann

We got outplayed, but a goal from a corner was good enough to win the game.

23rd: vs Southampton (Championship) - Friendly - (W 1-0) - Ben Wright*

Another good result in a friendly, this time against a Championship side.

27th: vs Crystal Palace Reserves (Premiership) - Friendly - (L 1-2) - Ben Wright*

It was an even game, until Jon Stead scored in extra for CP Reserves.

29th: at Killyleagh - Friendly - (W 3-0) - Ryan McCann (2), Ben Wright*

An expected win against my feeder club.

August 2011

3rd: at Carrick - Friendly - (W 3-1) - Jamie Day, Johnny Monaghan YP2, Lewis Killeen

Another win, this time against my former feeder club.

Transfers

I have only one transfer in so far, that being former Liverpool and Man Utd centre back Scott Wootton. I've also trialed countless players from all positions, and have offered out contracts to former Spurs left back Cian Hughton, former Luton defender Michael McQuitty, and AMC/ST Damon Smith (regen), previously at Rochdale.

Canadian Ricky Nakano resigns as Distillery Boss

LISBURN - Ricky Nakano has resigned from his managerial post at Lisburn Distillery with immediate effect. Pundits in Northern Ireland, along with fans of Distillery, were shocked to hear the news. However, Nakano has been rumoured to seek a new challenge in a tougher league, and reports have indicated that he applied for the Norwegian Premier Division outfit Valerenga. Reports that indicated that Nakano is a couple days away from signing with a new team.

August 8, 2011 BREAKING NEWS

Ricky Nakano becomes manager of Gillingham

GILLINGHAM -Ricky Nakano was unveiled today as the new manager of The Gills. The former Lisburn Distillery manager is said to be very exciting of the challenge of managing the League One side. "I am delighted to be the manager of Gillingham. I envision a bright future with this club, with many trophies. My experience as the manager of Lisburn Distillery taught me many aspects of being a football manager, and I'm pleased to be here.

There are already rumours surfacing that Nakano might be planning to sign several players from Distillery to Gillingham, notably Johnny Monaghan.

Great read rancer I look forward to see this career unfold KUTGW

Thanks mate. My time so far with The Gills have been a bit of a struggle so far. I don't exactly like the squad. I'll have to rebuild the whole team, which means a lot of selling, and signings players on a free (or a small transfer fee). I'll hang in there though, and hope I meet expectations (mid table finish).

You've left Distillery then!? Any reasons why other than the standard of league?

Good luck with Gillingham. From the sounds of it, you've got a tough job ahead of you! Just make sure you take Johnny Monaghan with you! ;)

I left because I realized that I lost motivation in managing Distillery. I was looking at other vacancies that I didn't think I will do a good job with them.

Anyways, the next update is coming very soon. So stayed tuned. I'm bringing some Distillery kids over. :D

Gillingham

I joined the Gills one game into the season, a 2-1 loss to Brentford.

August 2011

10th: at Bristol City - League Cup 1st Round - L 0-3

A match I would like to forget. I didn't really know any of the players, so I created a lineup with the assistance of a coach. (I didn't even have an Ass Man...)

13th: at Oldham - League One - L 1-2 - Glenn Murray

An even match, but Oldham just scored one more goal...

20th: vs Lincoln - League One - D 1-1 - Glenn Murray

First time in England where I actually had a lead. It lasted 15 minutes before Lincoln tied the game.

27th: at Southend - League One - L 0-2

The team really didn't show up. Although, the team is still gelling...

Standings

Quite a struggle so far. I hope my team gels soon...

Transfers

As you can see, I brought YP1 and YP2 over to The Gills. YP3 is quite pricey atm mind. Maybe in a year. :D

Sold players who were not part of my plan.

Key player - Johan Svensson

Johan Svensson looks good:thup:

I see you got Joe Jacobson the ex Cardiff player. I've got him on my Gundo's save in Wales. He gets a few assists at LB and can play LM as well so a good buy

Tough start with many new players few games and you will be firing on all cylinders. Mid table is possible:thup:

who did Glenn Murray used to play for? Brighton?
