Default The Very Best of 1.2

Ahead of the upcoming 1.2, here is a full guide to the information available in the FML Manual, and where to find it.

    1.2 Overview

From a new skin to a redesigned tactics module, 1.2 has a little bit of everything. To get to know the update a little better, go to:

    Friends in FML

Managers can be added as 'friends' in 1.2, with your new 'homepage' acting as a hub from which to interact with all your on and offline allies:

    Tactics Revamped

1.2 has a new tactics module based on 'Tactical Theorems and Frameworks' - for a dummies' guide to what that means:

The new system is both easy and exciting to use. Read all about it here:

A special mention goes to the in-game 'Shouts', that add alot of fun and extra strategy to the process of playing matches in FML. Find out about them at:

    Bonus Skills

Getting 1.2 may make you feel a little bit like it's Christmas. Tactics skills are being taken out of the game in 1.2, but you will be refunded the points you spent on those and can look forward to a real spending spree:

    And The Rest!

Like any FML update, 1.2 is full of other little touches. Particularly cool is the new Goal of the Week interface:

    And Finally...

The changelist as it stands can be found at:

Whilst Marc Duffy's insightful 1.2 blog sums it all up at:

Hopefully all this will leave you looking forward to an update that promises to be quite simply 1.2 good!!

What is meant by "roaming" under adjustments in the tactics screen?

The Roaming adjustment determines how many players are assigned a free role and encouraged to roam into space rather than stick to their position.

Initially it sounds like creative freedom, but whereas creative freedom is allowing the players to make decisions individually on how much to stay with their tactics, Roaming is more of a simplistic freedom tactic, so I'd suggest using high Roaming if you're trying to create a 'Barcelona' style of play.

Alex it's the bottom most option of the team tactics.
