Takamaru
I'm playing with Spartak Moscow, have 15 million left for transfers, am 300k per month under my wage budget, yet they still won't allow me to pay a key player more than 50k a month. Does anyone know why this could be? Surely they should be a bit more flexible? I would ask for more budget for wages, but I think that only applies to the total wage budget, not how much I can offer a player in a contract? m-platt
You could move some of your transfer budget to the wages, and this should result in you being able to offer more when you are negotiating contracts
Takamaru
Really? I assumed it would only mean my total wage budget would increase, not the specific amount that can be offered in a contract. I'll have a go, thanks
KDR
£50k per month is only around £12.5 per week. Depending on the player, that doesn't sound like a lot, tbh. And the guy is 300k p/m (about 75k p/w) under his budget. The only thing I can think is that the board don't think his proposed squad status is worth the cash. But as he is named as a key player, there must be some other reason, like the chairman/board not rating him (if that's even possible in the game). Apart from that, all I can suggests is to stick it in the bugs forum. Could be a known issue already, though.
