lawd
Just finished my 3rd season in the Argentina Primera Division and teh stand out player ws a certan Mr. Riquelme; Now I don't think I have ever seen a midfielder especially one who plays in the DMC position as he does in my team ever have such an awesome return. here is how I set him up; He is set as my free kick and penalty taker as well. In all my years of playing FM I think this is the best season any1 player has given me.
Glenn Wakeford
Your player instructions there suggest that while playing in the DMC role, he will spend little time there. Probably why he was able to help out so much up front.

Stevicus
Have you edited his stats as it certainly looks like you have Does not look it, i have seen his profile many times on 09, looks realistic to me.
arsenal_2111
Have you edited his stats as it certainly looks like you have No, those are the normal stats [afaict]. You're the last person who can accuse others of cheating tbh.
hamilton162
Fair enough, just noticed he is like that on my save as well I must sign him EDIT: Be quiet arsenal, you are ruining my save tbh
lawd
No but I use a specialist training which I downloaded here I think djwilster put it up, which works very very well for me, I have also invested heavily on bringing decent coaches, his morale has been superb all seson and he has stayed pretty much injury free, so I think it all adds up. small Mac
That is pretty impressive, don't think i've ever had a midfielder play that well over a season
The Major
Eddie Johnson 06 > Aguero 07 > Matiaz Fernandez 08 > Riquelme 09 Argue if you must, but it's the damn, damn truth
AcidBurn
Thats i brilliant never seen anything like it, I have had a player get 41 assists and 25 goals fomr AMR but that performance is a hell of alot better than my player. Well done. It doesnt look like that stats are edited those are the ones he starts with, strange how on these forums people see something they couldnt do and all of a sudden its cheating. Innawerkz
Insane stats and production. 50 Appearances with 54 Goals, a load of helpers & is MoM in almost half of his games. His Average Rating blew me away the most! Odd that he is listed as DMC as his stats - particularly his tackling, marking, speed, bravery & workrate - are all relatively weak for what I consider a lead DMC. Aside: Which skin is that? lawd
You know whats a shame though as my league rep isn't up their with europes he wouldn't be considered for world player of the year. Saying that its probably realistic though, for him not to be considered. edit, its Klasa

Saying that its probably realistic though, for him not to be considered.edit, its Klasa If they were his stats in the real world he would have to be nominated although its not really World Player of the Year its World player of the year that plays in europe but thats another topic lol. AcidBurn
I have had a look at your tactic a few times as I was planning on starting a game with Boca or a game in Brazil never got round to it in the end though.
Suge
Reminds me of Liam Trotter when I had him on loan at Braintree (slightly different standards I know). He got the same amount of goals and assists and, rather unsurprisngly, Ipswich wouldn't let me keep him.
brigzi
on my save man city bought gareth barry and he got 25 goals in the premiership
Lisandro Lopez
If I said no, would you hold it against me lawd? Riquelme is a classy player though.
Hazzydeepy
That is a very very impressive scoring record there by Riquelme , lawd. On a seperate note - I never noticed how many 20 attributes the guy had!
InterWolf
He doesn't usually have those physical stats....
SucksAtFM
very impressive. even if the guy had edited the stats, which i dont think he has, that is still an amazing return from a midfielder
JiggyDempsey
How does the stats of a 30 year old go up significantly by the time he's 33 regardless of any training schedule?? e.g. his balance is 13 in my game at 30 years old and he's 20 at 33 years old in yours ???
InterWolf
Exactly....
Mike~
I've never seen his, or anyone's, stats that good before. It's great playing in South America, though, every game has about 8 or 9 goals.
el sid
14 of his attributes are full 20's

Skinaldo
stamina etc edited lol but sures its a game and a class return
torsportsfan
The Physical stats are edited lol
Torpy
Sorry, just gotta laugh at the OP's blatant denial about editing his stats - and it ain't just the physical stats btw... That being said, he is an awesome player but keep in mind that at 30 he is at or just past his peak and you won't ever get the player that is portrayed here without editors. Pacman Jones
so the question is? have the stats been edited?
shanks
Eddie Johnson 06 > Aguero 07 > Matiaz Fernandez 08 > Riquelme 09Argue if you must, but it's the damn, damn truth I second that. He is immense in this game, especially for a player who can be picked up relatively cheaply
InterWolf
Of course they have. Most of those twenties are usually 19s. His physical stats are much more impressive than at the start of the game (ie balance is usually closer to 10). And he's 33! So he would have started to decline physically. jimi m
hes clearly bein edited hes too good but its still an amazing return
LUFC Barmy Army
I bought him in the first season of my man city save, helped me win the league twice in a row. Without doubt a fantastic buy at £16m i never regret buying him, i play him in AMC with robinho on left and SWP on right.
JimmyWangYang
I make a motion that anyone who creates topics that include gloating about blatant cheating like "lawd" just did, receive a yellow card.
lukekarts
I had a season (my first on FM09, unpatched) with Chelsea, where Lampard scored 40 goals in 38 league games and had 15 assists. Given that I didn't edit him and it was in the Prem, I think that's a much better return.
hazzabee
OMG cant believe this guy is trying to say he hasnt edited the stats! Riquelme's stats arent even as good as that at the start of the game let alone at 33!
Proteus
Lawd is a nice guy. I've talked to him in the Boca Juniors thread in the Good Player & Team Guide. JR Riquelme's return is very impressive even if his attributes have been modified by lawd. I modify the attributes of some players, too, in order to match my perception of their abilities.
hamilton162
He must have edited his PA and CA as well, no player would have 17 stats at 20 when he is 33...

gbshjdgkzf
lawd, what position training do you have riquelme on? dmc? i know he is playing as a deep lying playmaker but is he on a DMc's training schedule??
parmalat
I remember I had this young South African winger back in FM05 that had a 9.2 rating going into may http://i43.tinypic.com/1z4ia1g.jpg
Dekker
I think it was in FM07 that Olivier Kapo literally never played below an 8, or ended a match without a goal or an assist. ....then I saw him actually play for Birmingham. There's nothing worse than when you see an FM legend play in real life (Simon Vukcevic was equally disappointing, and I'm avoiding watching Matias Fernandez)

Then again it's so rewarding finding that young guy and then watching him play IRL and he rocks it. Happened to me back in CM there was a young mc, Olexandr Aliev. Was so amazing for my Wolfsburg side. Then I got to watch him in the U-21 championship game vs netherlands and I was so happy to finally see him play
