Jack Rudd
I think the FM region of Central Europe consists of Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Spain and Switzerland. golfpunk
If you were confused, why didn't you just scout Holland instead of Central Europe?
chrisy
because i have herd you have to keep reasigning the scouts and i will forget
golfpunk
You get a news item with a scouting update and it will tell you that your scout has finished his assignment in Holland, thus prompting you to assign him to something else

Schotsmannetje
I think the FM region of Central Europe consists of Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Spain and Switzerland. Although you're right, it doesn't make much sense though does it? Western Europe, that's what this is. According to my high school geography book Central Europe is Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary and the lot, while Eastern Europe would be Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Estonia, Russia, etc. Although I can see why SI divided it this way. You British probably think the UK is Western Europe by itself (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Schotsmannetje
I do apologize for that comment.
golfpunk
No need for apologies mate, just abit of banter
Schotsmannetje
To be fair, why would you want to send a separate scout to Holland anyway? We only have 38 professional football clubs, of which more or less 15 are on the edge of bankruptcy. He'd be finished in a week! And that's coming from a Dutchman! I swear, at the moment they're even considering just abolishing the first division altogether. It's of no use if nobody's watching it.
canvey!!
You should teach me some Dutch Schotsmannetje. My friend taught me something which sounded like 'How to loo felicita' which means Congratulations. I don't know how to spell it though .
Schotsmannetje
sounds like Hartelijk Gefeliciteerd oh yeah when you go to Amsterdam, make sure you know this out of your head: "Ik heb het recht op een advocaat."
canvey!!
From my French I'd say that that's something about a lawyer.
Crpls
What's that about Dick Advocaat?
canvey!!
I Googled it - I was right; 'I have the right to a lawyer'. Don't think I'll be needing that, Schotsmannetje . Insulted that you took me for that type of person .
Nobby_McDonald
Holland is in the Netherlands.
canvey!!
For some reason it's called Holland in game. Congratulations on 17,000 posts, by the way.
Schotsmannetje
Technically, nowadays Holland is 2 provinces of The Netherlands (North-Holland and South-Holland), however "we" still support the Dutch national football team by chanting "Hup Holland Hup!" (roughly translated: "Go Holland Go!").
Nobby_McDonald
I was under the impression the Dutch hated Netherlands being called Holland.
