B team manager registering players in spain?

i signed a player 2-3 days before the transfer window shuts, which i sent to the B team as i'd like him to play there for the experience.

also another new signing (which arrived at the start of the window) who is currently in the B team and can be considered the best player in that position in the team isnt registered, he has been injured for a month but surely that shouldnt stop the manager giving him a number?

however after the window shut, if i goto the B team then "contracts" both dont have a number assigned. there arent any restrictions that would stop them from being eligible for the team.
