What is CA and PA?

what exactly is meant by players CA and PA, and how do i find this out about players???

pa= potential ability

But how to find them out, i don't know, i assume it can only be done with the editor...

Current ability and potential ability. CA is how good a players is, PA is the very best he could theoretically become. You can view them in the data editor or with a programme such as Genie Scout.

How does everyonr feel about using something like Genie Scout? Is it cheating, or just part and parcel of some peoples games? I don't use it myself, but it would be interesting to hear from people who do...

People pay their own money for a game, so if they want to use it, all power to them. It's not for me, though.

Completely what Mike says tbh. I've used FMRTE twice, once to change my age to my real age, and once to add a second favored club.

I used Football Manager Modifier once on FM08. Gary Neville had an injury that got stuck one day's duration. A bug, I guess. I downloaded FMM to get rid of the injury. Suppose that's not really cheating, though. Just a way around an annoying bug.
