We'll keep it for now CP
Woohoo 1st edit
I don't think he edited anything. I couldn't find anything anyway.
No, where was it, Im useless at this wiki stuff
Never mind, I found it. It's in the Steam article.
Well done Dean, good stuff... good to see more users taking part.
Cool, this could be succesful at this rate
Should be added to the links thread imo
PM Neji, he will sort it out
Ok, you can see more updates to the MLS page, like a few more pictures to make it colourful and all.
I've added articles on Sports Interactive & Football Manager 2009. Feel free to add to them.
I will write some more articles todasy and then, post them up tonight.
Any ideas for articles would be helpful.
I will do one on:
CM01/02 - Brief History etc.
Preston North End Team Guide
Shakhtar Team Guide
Redditch Team Guide
Could someone tell me the criteria for a wonderkid?
I think I know what it is but I would like it verified.
More suggestions would be welcome.
Can someone give me the URL for the website as i am about to start doing a L2 guide. Aslo, is anyone willing to help me do this.
Cheers in advance
Football Manager wiki
I can't help you hamilton, I don't have a clue when it comes to League 2.
Don't worry, i can do it by myself, but it will just take time. Anyone else willing/able to help and please state what you can help me with.
Cheers for the URL though ahmufcwafc
How do you link articles to the front page? I've just done one on how to solve .xml passing errors when the game launches.
Edit this page > In the editor thing that pops up, click the insert link icon > select you article in 'page name'. It should pop up on the screen. Now you just have to put it in it's appropriate area.
I don't see your xml article anywhere.
No problem. I can't see it anywhere, have you put it up yet?
Yeah, just put it up now
Do you mind if I add a little to your xml parsing error article? Copying & pasting what you said won't work for non-Steam users. Thanks again
No problem ahmufcwafc, feel free to add useful info to it. The site is supposed to give the best instructions around
Yeah, I actually had a lot less to add than I thought. It was only one line
Hahaha, oh well, any extra info is great. I will see if i can spot the edit
If you didn't use Steam: "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\fm.exe" --reset_preferences
That's what you added isn't it?
Looks like a great idea.
Can you help me out with any League 2 info moj? Help is needed URGENTLY!! Tell me which clubs you can help with
Cheers in advance to everyone who helps
I can't actually find anywhere that says "the correct term is now FREDs"- there was one in the old GPTG FAQs, but it's gone
Little bit off-topic, but what is the difference between newgens & FRED's?
A FRED is a player that is generated randomly by the game at the start of every season. A newgen is a player that was created by the game to replace an old player who had retired in the older versions of the game. Hope that helps ahmufcwafc
No problem ahmufcwafc. What does your name stand for anyway. I got the Witton Albion bit, but what is the rest?
Good to see it is all growing and thank you all for putting things in the Wiki
Cheers Alan. Nice Witton Albion joke. How do you change your location, i can't seem to be able to do it?
User CP > Edit your details
Just been reading through the following;
Near the bottom is;
That isn't right, is it? I thought that if you are buying the player and include a friendly in the deal, you have no responsility over organising this friendly - it is up to them to organise it, it's just that you have to accept it.Arrange Friendly
You must arrange a friendly with the club you are buying from.
Correct me if I'm wrong
Regarding team guides, there are quite a few team guides in the GPTG. If you like, I can get in contact with as many of the posters of them as I can, and ask for permission to use their guides for this. Could save quite a lot of time making something that is already made
Ok then, I'll ask HoPeY or purefun permission to make a thread there asking for permission, as it would be quicker than PM'ing them. If they say no, I will PM the posters.
Thanks mate, appreciated.
K, I've PM'ed HoPeY asking for permission, hoping he says yes but I would understand if he doesn't want a thread about it.
Will let you know what he says.
hey jod me and you can team up and make a few irish articles
Yeah, can you find a few League 2 Articles. I can do Wycombe Wanderers as i support them fanatically, but help with the others would be much appreciated.
HoPeY has given me permission to make a thread there, asking for permission. Am going to make it now, and hopefully there should be a lot of people who are alright with it.
I don't know if anything from the GPTG FAQ could be used, theres a couple of things in there that could be useful in this I think;
Work Permits, CA/PA, Affiliated clubs, key attributes for players, and possibly accronyms
would all be perfect in my opinion.
I've added a "Premiership Club" section under the "leagues" heading so we can put all the prem club threads there.
Dumbass question here, how do I add a page to a certain section?
jod, you like my location?
Hamilton robbed my location... grr
Technically, it isn't the same though Peter
I win I win
No, I WIN, I WIN
Be careful lads, the last thing we want is for this thread to be closed.
My location owns yours all day, every day
Wiki is doing great, would even link it at the top of GD, all the links there are out of date.
Changed it peter Better than yours now I win, i win
I beat you jod, how does it feel to lose
Here is the Arsenal one, is it alright?;
Could you guys get back to the topic in hand please? Like Alan says that last thing we want is that this thread gets closed because of off topic rubbish
Fair enough ftg, just having a bit of friendly banter
I've put it up, can someone check it for me to see if it works please?
Yeah, it works all right arsenal 2111
Added some info into the screenshots thread, hope it is helpful.
Yeah, I made the EPL club things for the club threads.
Yep, put it in the Premiership section as the site needs to be organised properly so people can access it
