Anybody know what happens with any transfer money left over? Ive got a fair amount left , dont want to buy anyone else (or need to), so I was just wondering where it goes.

It doesn't go anywhere. If it's more than your balance then the difference is fictitious. In my game I have a balance of £15M and a transfer kitty of £115m.... confusing, but I wouldn't pay too much attention to the transfer budget.
