That is, what is the first professional match you've ever seen from a player of your's? Due to massive fixture congestion whilst managing Honvéd in Hungary I was forced to call in some of the next generation. 16 year old defensive midfielder Gyula Tokes, who had just agreed terms to join the club from the trialist team was forced into the side along with 2 young forwards (both signed from other clubs), Gabor Varga and Tamas Hajdu. Within 20 minutes Varga had a brace and set up a third in an incredible first half performance. Tokes was in on the action as well, scoring a 25 yard volley. Varga ultimately picking up man of the match on his first professional game. Incidentally, Hungary are actually producing good young players in this version with my academy already producing young young Victor Halasz. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
