  1. Update to the FM AssMan guides on the 4-3-3 formation with an updated guide on how defenders operate and how they can be used in a 4-3-3. Important issues covered: The requirements of centre-backs and how they can defend (potentially on their own) as a two in an attacking 4-3-3. How to use full-backs in a 4-3-3 depending on their attributes and the tactics of the opponent.
  2. A general crash-course guide on formations is now available on FM AssMan for beginners or anyone else who want to get to grips on the basics of formations and, subsequently, tactics in general. More information on more formations will be added over the course of time.
  3. FM AssMan opening guide on the 4-3-3 formation has been revamped and updated.
  4. FM Assman guide on 3-4-3 has been updated with a more in-depth look at variations of the 3-4-3 (3-2-2-3, 3-1-2-1-3 etc) and how to set them up.
  5. Bit of an update and revamp to the FM AssMan part 2 of the goalkeeper guide with a bit about positioning for crosses and a bit more on the keeper's decision making during crosses.
  6. FM AssMan guide on sweeper keepers has been updated with information on player instruction for each duty whether unavailable,pre-set, recommended or not.
  7. FM AssMan guide on 3-5-2 has been updated a bit with more on the formations origins and history.
  8. We have a brand new guide on FM AssMan regarding principles and strategies when it comes to defending. This guide is not the finished article and there will be more and in more detail in time.
