  1. If they can translate the current ME complexity into the unity graphical and animation module that would be a dream come true. And for God sake I hope we have proper dribbling, different kind of shots, passes and tricks in the unity engine, there is no excuse now.
  2. People need to understand that the new features for FM24 will be features that don't depend directly on the UI or Graphical engine.. So squad building, tactics, AI, transfers, training, even the ME (the ME exists even without it's graphical representation) can all be improved and carried on to FM25. One thing I don't understand is the womans football, or the hype for it... I mean who even watches woman football IRL? Maybe someone does in the USA or UK but rest of the world does not care one iota. So for me that would be a non feature.
  3. I think FM24 will be the last balanced game for a couple of years... Or I really hope It will be because a new graphics engine is a HUGE change.... It's a lot more complicated than improving the current one, so my guess is FM26 or FM27 will be the best game they ever produced, simply because FM25 will be riddled with bugs... But there is no other way of us getting a new graphics engine so I look forward to both 24 and FM25.
  4. Ok give me one game where Salah missed 3 one on ones....this is always the answer that SI gives for one on ones but their definition and mine is not the same i guess. One on one is not a clear shot on goal, its being against the keeper with no defenders in front of you.
  5. Besides graphics upgrade (that is optimized, Fifa can run on toasters and still look good ) training and international management, set pieces are a must! FM23 was just a data update that cost money, there is no excuse now for FM24 not to deliver. But the biggest factor if I buy or not is the ME.. I am disappointed by this ME, and also last year's, so I went back to FM21 where my IF could dribble the ball and my strikers could actually finish 1 on 1.. No more excuses for the ME, it must allow for all types of football. I think this version will be my last if it does not deliver, I'm too old to be waiting for a good FM game.
  6. I think thread should be moved to the bugs subforum, this is a big issue in the ME. Its not an experiment to use fast player simply because they perform better, its a bug, not a feature.
  7. One way of playing the game...... Please stop being blind fanboys, there is a reason why even fast strong players play in the Championship and not in the Premiership if they don't know how to play football..... There is a reason why Adama Traoré is not better than Cristiano Ronaldo, even though he is faster and stronger.......he is a bench player, went to Barcelona where he was fastest but 0 game time.... Technical and mental attributes do not matter in the ME as much as their attribute weight suggests!
  8. Yeah you need a winger/inverted winger instead of the Inside Forward. The whole point of the inside forward is...to be a forward to exploit space, and if you have a mezala they would get in each other spaces.
  9. I just hope the number one priority for FM 24 is dribbling and ball control.... It's such a shame dribbling does not exist properly in the match engine....and by dribbling I don't mean running past players I mean starring a run then stopping, turning with the ball, doing tricks etc...trying to duel a defender one on one with both players facing each other to see who makes a move first in that split second.. In football manager when a player runs towards a defender he either runs away wide ( to pass him ) or the defender tackles....there is no running back from the defender, no duel he immediately either engages or is ran past by... Dribbling is always towards opposition defenders, the best players always go down the middle....in FM dribbling is only wide and always into space, never into opposition players..
  10. The issue is maybe connected to moral/form idk, some games most of the players do as I tell them but some games they play the opposite of that... especially if I remove "play more disciplined" they tend to do as they want... This does not apply to wing players especially the IF who refuse to run with the ball towards goal....straight up refuse, they go to the byline, stop turn around and the cycle continues..... Also the goalkeepers are way too good at shot stoping from close range but if it's a long shot it's a 50/50 chance for goal.
  11. I really wish SI would open up the possibility of modding the ME. This is the only thing that kept me playing FM 2020, testing all my ME changes..
  12. Issue is still In the game IF and wide players in general refuse to dribble in direction of opposition players so they go wide where there is more space. Will this be fixes in new patch?
  13. After i forced my self to play a whole season i can say that this version is a huge disappointment especially the ME: The Good: World class players seem "better" than previous versions of FM in the ME .....nothing else i can think of unfortunately The Bad: The match engine. I generate 4x xG than the opposition just to beat them by 1-2 goals.....chances are so easy to be created the extended highlights never end! Unlike previous version like FM 21 in this version every chance, even one on one seems a lot worse than a coin toss.......and talk about hitting the post, every match both me and AI at least 1 post per team per match... Everything else. I skipped FM22 and this game FM23 looks identical to FM21 . Its like nothing is changed, the UI is the same, the press conferences are the same, the training is the same.... The Ugly: The animations....i appreciate new animations but now every players looks as agile as prime Messi, everyone can turn around and change directions like Messi and it makes the match very unrealistic. Also the players move slower than FM21.....i mean the speed of the animations seems slower? It makes it look very unrealistic.
  14. What I wouldn't give to see lines of thought for a pass, it would cure so many of my headaches Also regarding the lines of code, the project that I work on is currently on 3.5 million....I just counted with a python script, a lot more than I expected
  15. I don't know if you have some tools designed inside the team, but I think some kind of sandbox where you can artificially place players on the pitch, place the ball where you want, fire up the debugger and just watch and see why a player chooses to give the ball to the head of another player... This way you won't need pkms you could recreate any scenario on the pitch. And ability to rewind and start the play again and again. This sandbox could be modified to be the new training module where we can see players in training and how they react to a certain situation or tactical setting.
