  1. I have a fix for this, Using game pass version. On Windows. It seems to be an issue with installing the game outside the default folder. copy and paste into any explorer address window or the start bar and hit enter. Or C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024. If you cant do the above or still struggling press the windows key and the letter "R" at the same time and paste %localappdata%\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024 into the box that shows up and hit enter. Inside is a file called: install_path.txt. if you open this in notepad mine just had "C:/Program Files/WindowsApps/SportsInteractive.FootballManager2024_0.9.297.0_x64__5w3tn6tb6stnm/data/" inside. That is not where my game is installed. I edited it to where my game is installed which in my case is "E:\Xbox Games\Football Manager 2024\Content\data" I am currently in the editor and the editor is installed on my C: drive while the game is on my E: drive. Hope that helps. I have a fix for this, Using game pass version. On Windows. 2. Is there any option to have a db where the transfers haven't gone through at the start? Load up a save where all transfers are future transfers and give managers the power to cancel them. have transfers set for the pre season start and have the option to join before this to assess signings.
  3. Yes, this! I play with wingbacks who get up and down the pitch so I sign good players here because they are knackered after 60 mins and I always sub them. Sign 4 quality and then I will look at one that can cover both sides My subs bench is always S1:RWB S2:CB S3:LWB S4:DM/CM S5:CM/AMC S6:AMC/ST S7:ST Obviously depending upon availability. In the past 2 games had a GK injured/sent off in a game once. I reckon that I've secured more points in games having that extra outfield option than I've lost via not having a GK on the bench.
