Hey all. Anyone flagged the short throw in goal? I only brought the game last weekend after a 2 year absence, hoped set pieces had been sorted after a few years of posting on the feedback forum. All in all, happy with the new set piece set up, far less arduous. However, opponents have a throw in in my defensive area, goes to the player who will either cross, or pass it back to thrower who crosses it unchallenged, and at the back post is my isolated full back who gets dominated, and i concede.
I am very confident ''mark the thrower'' is known be anyone who has played football, so its not a quality of player issue. I set my defensive throw ins to have as many players as possible at the back post, but i assume that is only relevant to long throws as it has no impact.
Surely this has been noted by BETA testers or developers. It ruins the suspension of disbelief that i am the manager and can control my players. I dont want to play a 6ft 4 full back. Dan Burn is all well and good, but i am more a Dani Alves man...on the pitch anyway!
