  1. Anyone found any new unusual clubs in FM24? Foreign newgens, different philosophies, player restrictions etc?
  2. Trying to set this up on FM23 and Newgan Manager only allows me to select Desktop when choosing the image directory. Any ideas?
  3. I ordered the below last night for the same price (with a £20 discount through my work) - it's the same size but has 16GB RAM and a newer processor. Hard drive is only half the size so that may be an issue depending what you intend to use it for. It's a good time to buy at the moment with Black Friday deals. https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/product.aspx?id=6P0V6EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB
  4. This has helped convince me I should definitely get a new laptop Type: Laptop Model: HP Pavillion 15-n297sa 2 cores 4 threads CPU Model: Intel Core i5-4200U CPU Base Frequency: 1.60 GHz CPU Turbo Frequency: 2.30 GHz RAM: 8GB RAM Clockspeed: 1596Mhz GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4400 Graphics Level in 3D: Low Benchmark 1: 05 min 38 Sec Benchmark 2: xx min xx Sec Benchmark 3: xx min xx Sec Benchmark 4: xx min xx Sec
  5. I've found a club with foreign newgens that I haven't seen mentioned before - Arronches Benfica in the Portuguese 4th tier, going on their grey players they get newgens from Guinea-Bissau (with Portuguese as their second nationality). Could be a good save for someone after an unusual club.
  6. I posted in here a while ago but didn’t buy a new laptop in the end. A lot I’m finding have Intel Iris Xe, how does that compare to other graphics cards? If FM has much better graphics in the next few years how is it likely to cope? I guess the question is how does Intel Iris cope with more graphic intensive games than FM?
  7. Am I missing something? The link below says: “Digital download - no game disc included or required” https://www.shopto.net/en/pcfo01-football-manager-2023-p1175689/
  8. To add to the above: Young Boys Football Development - sound ideal for a youth challenge! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Young_Boys_FD FK Radnički Beograd A Belgrade club promoted to the Serbian 2nd tier. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FK_Radnički_Beograd
  9. Good list. I've found a couple of newly playable clubs that could be interesting. Paris 13 Atletico, now in the French 3rd tier. The challenge obviously being to overtake PSG. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_13_Atletico First Vienna, Austria's oldest club and former champions promoted to the 2nd tier. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Vienna_FC
  10. Thanks both. After looking further into it the Inspirons seem to have issues with overheating, is that something you were aware of?
  11. Looking into getting a new laptop as mine is nearly 8 years old. Mainly use it for FM, general internet use and Microsoft Office. Budget is under £1k, want something that’ll last for a good number of years like my current one has. Minimum requirements are: - Eight core processor - 16GB RAM - SSD 500GB - 14 to 16 inch screen - HDMI and classic USB (is that 3.0?) - Avoid an integrated graphics card, ideally play FM on the highest settings (but maybe things have moved on and that’s now possible on integrated?) - Current laptop is fairly heavy so a lighter one would be a bonus - DVD/CD drive would be a bonus but very rarely use so could buy a portable drive if necessary Found these three after filtering for those requirements but wondering if there’s better value for money out there. If those specs can be improved on without a much bigger budget then even better. https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/product.aspx?id=4J955EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB https://www.currys.co.uk/products/lenovo-ideapad-5-pro-16-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-512-gb-ssd-grey-10233246.html https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/laptops/inspiron-15-plus/spd/inspiron-15-7510-laptop/cn51703sc11
