  1. It currently isn't possible to import more than one training schedule at a time. You have to go to Custom Schedules > Import Schedule, then select the file. Next press 'Load' then save. After a few schedules to import this gets a bit repetiive. Can it be made possible to import multiple schedules in one go by selecting as many as you have in a specific folder?
  2. Agreed. It would be very useful if future versions of FM could either ask you how many people you wish to appoint to a role you've just advertised for, or it could see that you've advertised for a scout and know that you've got 3 spare vacancies for scouts and prompt you if you want to get 3 scouts in or just 1 or 2.
  3. I am indeed trying to get rid of Varane. Might start a new game on the full release and start all over again, trying to learn from my mistakes!
  4. Inacio has made 18 starts and 5 sub appearances in the league scoring 4 goals with an average rating of 7.06. Well worth the £38.5m I paid for him.
  5. Do you want a first team CB or cover? I loaned Macquire out to Spurs, sold Lindelof later on and found Evans too slow for most league games. I got Goncalo Inacio to partner Varane. As I'm still on my beta save I replaced Lindelof (Newcastle for £23.5m) with a cheap Daniele Rugani from Juventus. I used to buy Rugani in previous FMs so kept that up. For RW I've found Pellestri to be very good for me. 14 starts, 13 subs, 10 goals with an average rating of 7.08. By contrast Antony has made 24 starts, 8 subs with 5 goals and an average rating of 6.87. I use Pellestri and Antony both as a winger (support). Because I loaned Martial out I used Rashford up front with Hojlund so I use Sancho and Garnarcho on the left wing. Are you having problems scoring or defending? Have you tried theFFM spreadsheet to see what roles might work better for each player? https://theffm.co.uk/category/spreadsheets/ Goncalo Inacio from Sporting CP for £38.5m. Daniele Rugani from Juventus for £2.2m.
  6. Fair point. Evans is only on £50k a week and has no pay rises built into his contract. I guess I'll keep him as an emergency cover. Lindelof is off as soon as I can get him sold for a decent fee!
  7. Thank you for this. Have long struggled to find suitable staff who are willing to work with the U18s. I tend to hire coaches for the U18s with 3 or 3.5 star ratings to make sure I have good workloads but then struggle to get coaches with 4 or 4.5 star ratings. This should help me now.
  8. Assuming people are letting Lindelof and Evans go, who are you replacing them with? I'd like to see who it is possible to sign to replace these two as backup DCs. Lindelof isn't brave nor aggressive enough and Evans is too slow in terms of both speed and acceleration. Will Fish from the reserves looks like he could be promoted to the first team as the 5th DC?
  9. Exactly. Varane and Casemiro might be top players but to be on a collective £650k a week?! No way. Silly money. Rashford on £300k and Sancho on £275k a week? £1.22m a week between those 4?! I hoped to get rid of the more obvious deadwood in VDB, Martial and Maguire at least. I think I will start a new game when the game launches proper.
  10. Nice work. I'm trying to do the same in my beta save. Have got VDB, McTominay, Martial and Maguire all out on loan. I signed Inacio to replace Maguire. I think Lindelof and Varane will be out next. Lindelof's wages for a backup DC are ridiculous and Varane is on too much for an injury prone player in his 30s. I'm going to keep Casemiro for this season and see how Mainoo and Hannibal develop then see if I need to replace Casemiro with another DMC next season.
  11. What season is this? That's quite the transfer activity! Apart from Onana the defence is completely changed. Are you going for younger players with potential?
  12. I don't get to spend much time playing FM and so I'm only just starting the second season. In that time I've managed to get 4.5* across the board for my main team training with a few areas of 5*. I've managed the same situation with the U21 training but when it comes to the U18s I have a few 4* areas and I can't find any coaches to take me up to at least 4.5*. Does anyone pay much attention to the training for U18s on their saves? If so who have you signed as coaches, assuming not regens, that I can look to try to persuade to join on my save. Looking for 4.5* coaches in Defending Tactical and Technical and Attacking Technical. Would be very grateful to get any tips/names to get the U18 training up to the standard of the other two squads.
  13. Thanks for letting me know. I just wanted to check as the difference in payment amounts each month was a shocking change from FM22 to FM23. I'm not aware of any sources to show the figures/dates are incorrect.
  14. I've noticed that from July 2022 onwards Manchester United have to make a total of £11m repayments towards the club's debt each month. In FM22 it was £2.8m a month. Has the debt situation really changed IRL that the new monthly payments are now almost 4x what it was? The issue I'm not sure about is not the total debt to be repaid but the timeframe in which the debt has to be paid back. If that really is how things are then fine but I'm just staggered that the total repayments have shot up from almost £3m a month to £11m. It seems the debts have to be paid off now between 12 and 14 years sooner than before. Is this a reflection of the situation the club/Glazers find themselves in with the interest rates/inflation affecting the world economies right now? The £353m bank loan is to be paid off at £6.75m a month until 25/6/2027. I think the FM22 equivalent was £1.8m a month until 26/6/2041. The £183m bank loan is to be paid off at £2.3m a month until 6/8/2029. I think the FM22 equivalent was £775k a month until 26/6/2041. The £75m bank loan is to be paid off at £1.4m a month until 4/4/2027. I think the FM22 equivalent was £215k a month until 26/6/2041. The £25m bank loan is to be paid off at £700k a month until 4/7/2025.
