  1. Game Version is not the same as Database Version. If there's only minimal changes they keep the same DB version (which then has the benefit of not having to update/re-verify editor files). In 23 for example we had 23.0, 23.3 and 23.4 for Database versions.
  2. Ajax staff is always missing for licensing reasons. If you had a 'thing' installed (adding or deleting certain files) for them to show up, you need to re-do it after every update. The description of the 'thing' should tell you how and where.
  3. Shouldn't it be enough to simply before updating revert the changes? Just go into the currently used Config and replace "person/r-" with "person", update via newgan, then again "person" --> "person/r-"
  4. @Daveincid (or anybody who had a similar edit): Hope you are doing well and the release is a success, i know i am looking forward to get going tonight with the Beta. I have a quick question: I have done a custom file for a Build a Nation/League type save with Denmark. The edits to the nation rules are likely not really an issue but i also edited stuff in the DB for Denmark like weekly wages, sponsorship values (under nation, the ones where you set it by reputation range) and transfer preferences. Since those are all DB edits and not rules and i am certain you had a file for the latter last year at least (not as sure about the first 2 right now and can't check being at work) here is the question: Provided you touched any of these for this year: how would i best go about using your edited files but also for Denmark specifically my own edit? Best to copy my Denmark values to one of your files? (and then have my Denmark file with only rule changes, not DB edits). Merge files? Or just load both as is? I realize this propably falls into the "can't test/promise anything" category, just looking for a best guess
  5. One alternative would be to sim far ahead and then create a new manager. Takes a while but can just have the game sim while at Work or overnight. Of course that adds more randomness in terms of teams as well.
  6. @Ryan Brown I uploaded the last autosave with it still working (June 24), hope that helps. The file name is: SquadPlannerIssueMarinhoEarlier.fm As an FYI: If i retire and assign a new manager the Squad Planner is working again. Of course that's not exactly an ideal solution. (i presume moving elsewhere and then re-taking the job via editor would do the same). Maybe sth to do with the tactics being emty (until you then create a first one/load one)? I'll try holidaying to the end of the season and see if maybe the season ticking over also does sth.
  7. I will check how far back my saves still go and let you know tonight. I did create a 2nd Manager (being lazy just using the same profile for that character) for the B Team to test that/see how that could work with both controlled directly (then pretty soon retired that one and hired a new manager). I recall a few 'wonky' things going on with regards to staff responsibilities but don't know if Squad Planner was affected as i didn't use it at that point.
  8. Well, i don't think that's true ... (filter is not working at all there. Could someone check if it's the same for them?)
  9. Basically in season 2 for some reason i can't use the Squad Planner at all anymore. It shows entirely empty and if i ask the assistant to fill it the game crashes. If I manually assign players the Planner isn't saving. (as soon as i move to any other menu and come back, everything is empty again). I have uploaded a copy of my save game.
  10. Hi, this can be changed in game under "skin colours" (in preferences just type it in). There is a category "player shortlisted" and then just choose any colour you want. I changed mine to orange for example: Also, this skin seems to display just fine on 110% zoom, making all text a bit bigger. Maybe that will help as well for certain areas where you might not be able to change the colour as easily. (also under preferences, then advanced tab and it's at the top)
  11. Thanks for sharing your skin. Haven't gotten around to using it last year but really like the look of it so far. A couple nitpicky issues: Is there an easy edit to hide the Current Ability being displayed as an exact number at the bottom of the player profile when showing a player preview (hovering on the "i"). Obviously not the worst attribute to be displayed but still a little annoying for me personally. For a future update would you consider removing that particular display and add in the star rating for CA/PA maybe? Also: When filtering for players there is no way anymore to make categories "inactive", only to remove them all together. Is that by design? I'll attach some screenshots to hopefully illustrate what i mean (search original Skin) (search your skin) Player preview

To add, when going to "Preview Options" and then "Preview with starting 11" it literally shows me that it's going to do it wrong (not just under "taker" but in the preview graphic). ame when i switch out (in the tactic screen) Günter with Katterbach. If however in tactics i switch Günter with my 13 LTHR 3rd choice LB it defaults to the RWB Sidilla. Even if i then put in a terrible throw in taker at RWB it defaults to a right sided player, my AMR Sallai (only 8 LTHR). So it seems a little like at a certain threshold it just gets 'weird' ? Interestingly, it works fine for "defensive third" and "middle third". It still claims Günter is the taker but in the little preview pitch you can see it's showing Sildilla (25) taking it and indeed that is what happens in game.
  13. First off i did read the topics that say it's not an issue or resolved but i don't think it's applicable here. My issue is that (i realize by design) "work into box" is not editable and for me the result is that my 18 Long Throw WLB is taking short throws from the right side instead of any of the players playing on or near the right wing. Worse, even my 15 rated backup LWB takes them rather than the 16 rated RWB which makes me think it might 'priorizize' the takers from the Left Side? I have attached a PKM with this issue. One example starts at the 2 minute mark with the RWB loosing posession, thus being closes to the ball and still the LWB taking the throw in who was all the way on the other side of the pitch.   14. Thanks for the reply. IIRC this wasn't possible for the short routine. When i switched it to Long Throw it was already set up sensibly. I'll have another look at it tonight. I think there might be an issue of it defaulting to the first choice on the other side if the other first choice isn't on the pitch. But again, i'll check it before jumping to conclusions
  15. Am i missing it or is there no way to change/designate Throw In Takers? Slowly but surely getting annoyed about my left Wingback taking (short!) throws on the right side.
