  1. August 8th: Spennymoor (a) (2/46) Not the start I wanted as we went down to an early goal as the Spennymoor attack barged through the defence with far too much ease and fired under Jrobertgordon13. Soon after they had another chance with a long range effort which went inches over the crossbar. We were being outplayed with ease and on the half hour we came close to losing another goal but Lawlore managed to time his challenge to perfection. Just before the break we had our first chance to of the game as Gavrenwick crossed into the area but CFuller headed straight into the keeper arms. The second half was thirteen minutes old when I made a triple change as Tenthreeleader, BenArsenal and Dalbeider all came on in place of Hockeybhoy71, Leicester33 and CFuller. The change worked out perfectly as BenArsenal effort was flapped by the keeper and Mark Wilson27 tapped in the loose ball. On the 67th minute we had another chance to score as Dalbeider threaded the ball to the feet of Mark Wilson27 who lashed it well wide of the post. We were starting to take control of the game and on the 83rd minute we had our next chance to score as Jon1982 tried his luck from distance but the Spennymoor keeper was on hand to keeper the scores at 1-1, and that is how it ended Spennymoor 1-1 FMS Rejects L.Mbeka 13 / Mark Wilson27 59 Jrobertgordon13, Tikka Mezzala, Lawlore, Bigmattb28, Hockeybhoy71 (58-Tenthreeleader), Celtic_1967, Leicester33 (58-BenArsenal), Gavrenwick, Jon1982, CFuller (58-Dalbeider), Mark Wilson27 Booked: Leicester33 August 11th: Injury news isn't good for the club as EvilDave will be out for three months after suffering shin splints during training
  2. March 31st: Dortmund (a) Champs Cup ¼ Final 1st Leg We controlled the first half with ease and on the 17th minute we had our first chance as K.Jardine curled the ball into the area but A.Grossi fluffed his effort. Soon after we had another chance as M.Arruabarrena hit the crossbar from twenty odd yards. It was too easy for us and on the 33rd minute K.Jardine had another chance with a long range effort but the Dortmund keeper was on hand to block the effort. Just before the break M.Vandamme was clear on goal but the Dortmund keeper saved bravely at his feet. Four minutes into the half we finally broke the deadlock as S.Pino showed some great skill to beat the defence and wasted no time in giving us the lead. However after the goal Dortmund started to play and on the 57th minute they came close to scoring but J.Smith was alert enough to slide in and clear the ball. Ten minutes later J.Smith again saved the day with a wonderful block on the line after K.Swaby fluffed a save. With fourteen minutes remaining in the game Dortmund were reduced to ten men after M.Albusberger was sent off for a second yellow card. The tie is still very much in the balance Dortmund 0-1 Man Utd S.Pino 49 K.Swaby, L.King, T.Franco, J.Smith, P.Lane, M.Khumalo, M.Arruabarrena (S.Pino), D.Leonardi (G.Mokulu), M.Vandamme, K.Jardine, A.Grossi (O.Scherbakov) The end of the month sees my side top of table three points clear of Liverpool after 32 games

  4. August 2023: August 5th: Chester (h) Vanarama National League North (1/46) So the fun begins as we face our first real competitive game. We started the brighter as Mandy42 crossed into the area on the 12th minute but Dalbeider fired wide of the post. Ten minutes later though Chester came close with a well struck effort which had Jrobertgordon13 at full stretch to save. On the 33rd minute Dtown1414 was on hand to block an effort off the line after the rest of the defence fell asleep. We were being outplayed and just before the half time interval Bigmattb28 headed clear from under the crossbar after Jrobertgordon13 fluffed a corner. The second half was all Chester as we seemed to struggle with the simple things in football and on the hour mark Chester's striker stung the fingers of Jrobertgordon13 from the edge of the are but Lawlore managed to clear the ball up the pitch. On the 67th minute we finally became undone as G.Glendon ran through the defence with far too much ease and rounded Jrobertgordon13 to slot into the empty net to silence the Rejection Power fans. Twelve minutes later Lawlore slid in to deny the Chester side a second goal after some more woeful defending. On the 80th minute I made a double change with EvilDave and CFuller coming on for Gavrenwick and Mark Wilson27. With two minutes remaining in the game Chester had one last chance with a well worked move which was thwarted by Jrobertgordon13's outstretched leg. Not the start to the season I wanted FMS Rejects 0-1 Chester G.Glendon 67 Jrobertgordon13, Dtown1414, Bigmattb28, Lawlore, Hockeybhoy71, Mandy42, Copperhorse, Gavrenwick (80-EvilDave), BenArsenal, Dalbeider, Mark Wilson27 (80-CFuller) Booked: Lawlore
  5. May 2024 (Managers Remaining 6/15) Serie A BenArsenal (Juventus) Ben's side started the month with a 3-1 win over Sassuolo and was followed by a 2-1 win over Udinese. The next game saw his side beating Empoli 2-0 and this was followed by a 1-1 draw against Atalanta to see his side finish the season in 2nd spot CFuller (Fiorentina) A very consistent month for CFuller as his side drew the last four games of the season 1-1 with Empoli, Verona, Lazio and Genoa all sharing the points. Fiorentina ended the season in 9th spot Daniel Evensen (Salernitana) Four losses ended the season for Daniel's side as they lost 2-1 to Milan and this was followed by the same scoreline against Cagliari. The next loss was yet again a 2-1 loss this time to Udinese and the final loss of the month was not a 2-1 loss but a 1-0 loss to Sassuolo. Daniel's side finished the season in 11th spot Gavrenwick (Lazio) A 4-1 win over Bologna started the month and this was followed by a 1-0 loss to Napoli. The next game saw his side drawing 1-1 against Fiorentina and the season was ended with a 3-0 win over Salento. His side finished the season in 3rd spot Tenthreeleader (Inter) The month began with a 0-0 draw against Cagliari and this was followed by a 2-1 win over Sudtirol. Tenthreeleader's side then lost to arch rivals Milan 2-1 in the Italian Cup Final and was followed by a 0-0 draw against Napoli. The final game of the season saw his side beating Bologna 3-0 to finish the season 5th in Serie A. However the finish wasn't good enough for the board and Tenthreeleader was sacked on the 28th on the month ..Goodbye Sir WLKRAS (Atalanta) A quadruple of draws started with a 2-2 draw against Spezia and this was followed by three 1-1 draws against Roma, Milan and Juventus. WLKRAS's side finished the season in 8th spot Job Status: Tenthreeleader (Inter) (28/5/24) SACKED June 2024 (Managers Remaining 5/15) Serie A BenArsenal (Juventus) No Matches CFuller (Fiorentina) No Matches Daniel Evensen (Salernitana) No Matches Gavrenwick (Lazio) No Matches WLKRAS (Atalanta) No Matches Job Status: All safe
  6. March 27th: Arsenal (h) (32/38) A cracking start saw us taking the lead on the 8th minute as D.Leonardi jinked through the defence and fired in past the Arsenal keeper who stood no chance. Six minutes later we had another chance as K.Jardine crossed into the area but A.Grossi fired just wide of the post. On the 20th minute we grabbed goal number two as D.Leonardi curled in from the outside of the area after the Arsenal defence kept on backing away from him. We carried on the pressure and just before the break K.Jardine had his next chance with a long range effort which the keeper tipped over the crossbar. The second half started the same as we carried on the pressure and on the 58th minute we made it 3-0 as G.Mokulu headed home a free-kick from D.Leonardi. It was too easy for us or so we believed as Arsenal started to up the gears and on the 64th minute they had the chance to pull a goal back as A.Moinaro stepped up for a penalty but his strike went high and wide, However seven minutes later Arsenal grabbed a goal back as L.Ndiaye beat the defence with surprising ease and fired under K.Swaby. After a verbal rollocking from myself the players regained their composure and with nine minutes remaining in the game O.Scherbakov grabbed our fourth goal to secure the three points Man Utd 4-1 Arsenal D.Leonardi 8, 20, G.Mokulu 58, O.Scherbakov 81 / L.Ndiaye 71 K.Swaby, L.King, T.Franco, J.Smith, P.Lane, M.Khumalo (G.Mokulu), M.Arruabarrena, D.Leonardi, M.Vandamme, K.Jardine (S.Pino), A.Grossi (O.Scherbakov)
  7. An excellent start to the story as always sir, will be following and seeing how many awards this one will get you
  8. Ben-Thought it was about time I tried another effort with one of these Dalbeider - Oh to be 16 again, along time ago for myself Oche Balboa - Good to have you along Neil - Sorry abouth the error with your nationality, I should know better. It has been edited and will be showed in Season Two as I have the first season in the bag already. I am feeling alittle better than I was, slowly getting their July 8th: So no time to faff about the club start the preseason with a 2-1 loss to Matlock Town with MarkWilson27 scoring on the 3rd minute however J.Margetts scored on the 11th and Matlock's second goal was scored on the 31st minute with J.Johnston heading in past Jrobertgordon13. Both sides played attacking football but neither could add to their respective totals. Tenthreeleader had to be replaced during the game due to injury which will see him out for around a month with a twisted ankle. The game also saw Celtic_1967 out for a few days after twisting his knee July 12th: The next friendly saw The Rejects beating Brighouse 3-1. However it was Brighouse who took the lead as E.Tavernier opening the scoring on the 15th minute. Brighouse played the better in the first half but the second half was all The Rejects. On the 62nd minute Markwilson27 opened The Rejects scoring as he ran onto a Dalbeider pass and fired in under the keeper. Eleven minutes later it was 2-1 as Copperhorse21 volleyed in a Dtown1414 cross. Brighouse were all over the place and on the 81st minute Celtic_1967 threaded the ball to the feet of WLKRAS who lashed it under the keeper. July 15th: A poor first half saw no real action from either The Rejects or the Grantham side. The second half was alittle better for our side as twelve minutes into the half Markwilson27 headed in a Dalbeider lob into the area. With seven minutes remaining in the game Markwilson27 added a second and final game for The Rejects with a great shot from a Dtown1414 through-ball. July 18th: The Rejects now faced Corby and demolished them 6-1 with Copperhorse opening the scoring on the 18th minute. Four minutes later Corby pulled level with J.Buculossi heading in past Daniel Evensen. On the 24th minute it was two one as Dalbeider hit home from twenty five yards to beat the keeper. Seven minutes later Markwilson27 added a third goal with a curling shot after running onto a Mandy42 pass. It was getting too easy as on the 33rd minute Mandy42 slotted home from a low Dtown1414 cross. The second half was much the same as The Reject controlled the play and on the hour mark Dalbeider headed in a Gavrenwick cross. The Rejects were all over the Corby side and on the 80th minute it was 6-1 as Celtic_1967 slotted home a penalty after a Gavrenwick shot was handled in the area July 29th: The final friendly of the month saw us facing Vauxhall Motors and The Rejects motor into a lead as Mandy42 fired in from the edge of the area after collecting a Dtown1414 pass. The game then seemed to die down with little action until Vauxhall equalised with last kick of the game from L.Pulford. Not the result I wanted July 31st: It was time for to choose the Captain and Vice Captain for the season. BenArsenal will be my Captain and Tenthreeleader will be the Vice Captain.

  10. March 13th: Walsall (a) (31/38) A great start saw us taking the lead on the 7th minute as A.Grossi barged into the area and fired under the Walsall keeper. Ten minutes later we had another chance to score with D.Leonardi crossed into the area but A.Grossi headed wide of the post. On the half hour Walsall came close with their first effort of the game as they beat the offside trap but K.Swaby was alert enough to block the effort. The second half was dominated by my side and on the 61st minute we added another goal with D.Leonardi running in from the wing and wasted no time to curling the ball into the top corner. Ten minutes later we had another chance with M.Vandamme heading just wide from a D.Leonardi cross. With five minutes remaining in the game Walsall had the chance to pull a goal back with a well worked team move but the final effort was poor and the ball went wide of the post Walsall 0-2 Man Utd A.Grossi 7, D.Leonardi 61 K.Swaby, L.King, T.Franco, J.Smith, P.Lane (M.Reekers), M.Khumalo (M.Vandamme), M.Arruabarrena, D.Leonardi, G.Mokulu, K.Jardine, A.Grossi (D.Benedetti) March 19th: The draw for the Champions Cup ¼ Final has taken place and is as follows: Dortmund (GER) v Man Utd (ENG) R.Madrid (ESP) v OM (FRA) Juventus (ITA) v Napoli (ITA) Barcelona (ESP) v Roma (ITA) March 25th: Injury news sees D.Benedetti out for around 4-5 weeks after spraining his ankle on International duty

March 2024 (Managers Remaining 6/15) Serie A BenArsenal (Juventus) The month started with a 1-0 win over Sudtirol and was followed by 2-1 win over Tenthreeleader's Inter in the first leg of the Italian Cup Semi final. The next match was a 3-1 win over Napoli but this was followed by being knocked out of Europe as his side lost 4-2 against Real Madrid in the 2nd leg and 5-4 on aggregate. His side didn't seem to recover from the European exit as his side lost 3-0 to CFuller's Fiorentina. The last game of the month saw his side drawing 1-1 against Salento to finish the month in 3rd spot CFuller (Fiorentina) Not the best of months in the league for CFuller as his side lost the first game 2-1 against Salento and this was followed by a 1-0 loss to Spezia. 15. March 9th: A.C.Milan (h) Champs Cup 1st Knockout Rd 2nd Leg (agg 1-2) The game started slowly with little attacking efforts to shout about in the first twenty minutes. It was Milan who grabbed the first chance of the game as they broke through the defence but L.King managed to clear the ball off the line. On the 35th minute my side had the next chance with a curling effort from M.Arruabarrena which clipped the top cross joint of the goal. With a minute remaining in the half we grabbed a fluky goal as K.Jardine crossed into the area but his cross screwed off his foot and looped over the Milan keeper. The second half was a tight affair with the majority of the play staying in the middle third of the pitch. On the 67th minute though Milan had the chance to equalise after J.Smith fouled in the area, O.Arboleda stepped up for the penalty and fired it wide of the goal. The final chance of the game came in the 89th minute as D.Leonardi stung the fingers of the keeper from close range.
