Only thing I can do now to show my disappointment with no ME changes is to leave a negative steam review.

You do know deep down when you see the new ME graphics and watch the SI marketing campaign unfold you'll eventually change your mind and buy it, and no doubt regret it because of the endless amounts of bugs which will come with a new UI and ME Graphics.

The real heartbreaking issue here is that fact we were promised better ai squad building in the headline features for FM24.

How many leagues / nations can you run on the steam deck with OK cpu processing?

What makes this more annoying is that FM24 was supposed to be the most polished, bug free version ever. I've got to stop believing the marketing! I worry for FM25 it has the potential to be the mother of all giant bugs.

I get sucked into the hype every year and my biggest problem is I believe all the SI marketing leading up to release. SI are very good at promoting their game, especially this year. Some examples...... most complete, polished and bug free version, AI squad building is better, ME improvements etc. FM 24 was the version for the fans improving the things that matter! And it's a bit of a disaster so far. And the problem is its all very subjective, so they can getaway with saying these things. I've no doubt SI don't intentionally lie but they're a bit of mark with FM24 this isn't the most polished version ever. Every year I say, "next year I won't buy it", yet you're right every year I'm on the hype train and pre order as I have for many, many years. Will I ever learn? maybe not, I have such fond memories of FM but perhaps I'm just more aware of bugs and issues as I've gotten older and become less tolerant of the repeated issues year in year out. And that's on me to continue making a decision to buy it knowing issues will be a part of FM. This year however I felt different, I really believed this would be a more polished experience, but I was wrong Again.

It's quite difficult to gauge but has anyone noticed ai players developing badly, especially young wonder kids?

What's the issue with ai player development and what adjustments are being made? Thanks

OK. Thanks for the feedback, good to see. My players are the polar opposite to this, I might mess around with some training schedules.

I'm now mid way into my second FM24 season with Northampton Town in league one and decided to check out the player development graphs on a few young up and coming squad players aged between 20 and 23 and to my surprise their attributes haven't changed at all and although they aren't first team players I do give them plenty of game time. My first thought was perhaps there is a player development bug but, I'm sure there would've of been outcry from the community as watching players develop is a big part of FM. How do you guys find players developing are you seeing increases in player attributes? And finally any advice on player development would be appreciated.

I don't know if its just too early to tell, but I'm a good 20 game in and I've noticed strikers outside the league I'm playing in are struggling to get ratings above 7.00

I have noticed quite a lot of high scoring games. My overall observations so far is that too many goals are being scored. But, we need to to see over a few seasons to see if this is a problem or not.

I agree Gegenpress is very over powered.... Gegenpress should only be a viable tactic with the right players and a bigger enough squad to cope with the physical nature of this tactic - Currently you can play this style of play with ANY team and mix of players and get immediate success, its such a shame because its my favourite style of play but makes the game too easy.

Hahah, this has reminded me of game I used to play as a youngster... Champ Manager Italia, I liked Italian football because Gazza joined Lazio. No such thing as Beta Speculation threads in those good old days!!
