  1. Just a comment about this, as I've done the same in Norway, it's a pain to get the regions correctly. And even if you do, the teams will move regional leagues to even out the numbers it seems. This seems to happen when say multiple teams from one region is relegated from the national level into the regionals, while the regions have fewer promotion spots. So it leads to certain regions being overcrowded and others lacking teams. I guess the game tries to even out the numbers, but it screws up regional leagues massively in my Norway file. If you know of a way around this, feel free to enlighten me!
  2. First international player is Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e and he even scored in his debut for Antigua & Barbuda.
  3. As far as the youth intake, I think SI have said the level of correctness also depends on a few other parameters, and age is a factor. The younger the player, the higher the inaccuracy. It will also be more correct the longer the staff member has scouted or coached the player, to mirror them getting more and more knowledgeable of their skills. So to summarize, older players who have been at the club for a long time will be more accurate than newly arrived players from the youth intake. All depending on the attribute of the staff, of course. As for Man Utd and recruitment, I don't disagree, it was just one example. If you want older Man Utd players from when they were better, how about Bebe?
  4. XaW - Marine FC - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - Vanarama National League Squad | Transfers | Finances This season started as we did last season, we were winning matches. And with a few more youth players part of the team after the good intake last year, we had less issues with rotation, even if a few spots on the team were lacking quality backups. But when our first 8 matches included 7 wins and a draw it was apparent we were onto something big. And as the season progressed we stayed around the top spot, fighting with a few other teams. Along side this good league form, we had quite the run in the FA Cup too, so fixture congestion was a bit of an issue in January onwards. So we did have certain troubles there, but we overcame them pretty well. Going into the final matches of the season it seemed to be down to Rochdale or us for the top spot with us leading by a few points. However, we lost two matches to find ourselves level with them when both had 3 matches left. Both won the first two to go into the final match on equal points, but we had a slght advantage in goal difference. So essentially we had to equal whatever Rochdale did. They were away to an Altrincham side who was already relegated, while we faced a playoff bound Swindon at home. Luckily, one of our new players, Kevin Gallagher 27a, decided to have an amazing match for us, scoring and assisting in a very strong 3-0 win to clinch the title, and promotion to League Two! After the promotion was secured, we also finally turned professional, so things are looking promising for us now! And a few days later the board has decided to build a new stadium. FA Cup: We beat Hemel Hempstead, Mansfield, Chelmsford City, and Luton Town before we lost to Portsmouth in the 4th round. An excellent run that garnered in enough cash to allow an upgrade to our youth facilities! FA Trophy: We beat Rochdale and Aldershot Town before we lost to Swindon Town in the 5th round. Best players from the academy: Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - Our first choice striker this season and scored quite a lot of goals. David Overton 25a - A strong season from our main goalkeeper. Charlie Rowlands 26c - Started as a rotational option, but grew more and more into the first team as the season rolled on. New club records: None. Got a few more upgrades accepted this season. U18s They won the National U18 League North West this season. FA Youth Cup: They beat Accrington Stanley, Atherton Colleries, and Chester before they lost to Fleetwood in the 2nd round. 5. The staff doesn't see the _actual_ CA or PA. They see a PCA/PPC, perceived PA/CA. This is a number based off of PA, but also incorporates the reputation and the attributes of the coaching staff, as well as some randomisation I would assume. So even the perfect staff can be wrong in the game, as they can in real life. Some players can be overvalued and some can be undervalued. All AI staff, both at your club and at the clubs run by AI staff, use this. I've posted here before examples of staff being wrong in both directions, but the best staff will more often than not be close to the real value. Think of it like this, there have been a million "next Messi's" around, hyped and bought by big clubs only to fail, but some got thrown away and found success at other teams. Let's take Martin Ødegaard as an example. Was projected to be a superstar, got bought by Real Madrid at 15 for lots of money, but never made it there. So the sold him for ~£30M to Arsenal after being loaned to them. Big money, but nothing compared to what he would be worth now. And Real Madrid doesn't have poor staff, they just made a wrong choice regarding how good he was. We can also look at Man Utd refusing to buy Haaland (as Solskjær said in various interviews) and probably plenty of other examples of scouts, coaches, and managers getting it wrong. The game replicates this by not being 100% correct in regards to actual ability and potential.
  6. Nah, but they are a good Championship side, so still a giant killing.
  7. Ok, let's get real oldschool with this from various older games, and I'll try to pick the less obvious one that everyone remembers like Tsigalko. Also, parden the spelling, I'm doing this from memory. Orri Freyr Oskarsson Dionysis Chiotis Eldar Hadzimemedovic Kim Källström Haruna Babangida To Madeira Andri Sigthorsson Peter Prospar Sixto Peralta Kennedy Barkaciuglu (I butchered this spelling, I'm sure of it) Samuel Okworonkwo Those are the ones I can remember from the top of my head that I think haven't been said.
  8. A bad one, but not as bad as it looked from the score. Guess you got double unlucky then!
  9. Wow! I know it's possible in theory, but never seen it happen before!
  10. @tikitakamaster - Thanks for helping, but you need to post a screenshot rather than something that seems more like an add for your social media.
  11. XaW - Marine FC - Season 2025/26 (Season 2) - Vanarama National League Squad | Transfers | Finances After the surprising promotion last season, my hopes for anything more than survival was few and far between. However, we had an excellent start to the season winning our first 3 matches. From then on we played well and were the surprise package in the fight for a promotion playoff spot for a lot of the season. It took all the way until late January before we hit a snag. However, when it hit, it hit bad! During a 16 match run between late January and the end of March we only won 2 matches and lost the majority of the rest. Of course, it meant we dropped out of the playoffs and slid down into the middle of the table. We got a few wins towards the end of the season to lighten it up, but it still felt like we had lost out. Don't get me wrong, I'd taken a 10th spot at the start of the season, so it was a good one, but still. The reason was mostly linked to fitness. The first team is rather good, but most of the youth players were not ready for a big role this season. Of course, it helped when we had a good youth intake, but that didn't come until early April. We also had a great cup run, so overall it was a very productive season for us. FA Cup: We beat Macclesfield before we lost to Mansfield in the 1st round. FA Trophy: We beat Chester, Weston-super-Mare, Wealdstone, South Shields, and Chippenham to reach the final. There we faced Eastleigh, who had just won the promotion playoff. In a very close game, we edged it by scoring the only goal of match halfway into the first half. Then we held on and shut up shop the 2nd half to claim our first cup win! Best players from the academy: David Overton 25a - Our first choice goalkeeper had a good season. Conceded quite a bit, but he did his part. Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - Came through and got his debut shortly after where he scored two goals, so I kept him on for a few more and he did well. Will probably be first choice next season already! Charlie Rowlands 26c - Only got two sub appearances, but played well in both. New club records: Most goals in a match - Manassé Mampala - 4 goals Most goals in a league match - Manassé Mampala - 4 goals Most clean sheets in a season - David Overton 25a - 11 clean sheets Most league apps - Jordan Lussey -162 apps Most league goals - Manassé Mampala - 53 goals Youngest goalscorer - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 15 years, 273 days Got a few more upgrades accepted this season.
