  1. Isn't that what he's highlighting? That head to head results count in which he had the better results (left side)?
  2. Confused here but we have like 4 Samsung Galaxy tablets, all different generations and we can install FM24 Mobile only on the oldest one of them (A10)? Edit: Elaboration. It seems if you go to the play store it's only available on the old tablet (which doesn't have Netflix installed coincidentally). But I just took our most recent tablet (S8 or S9) and go into Netflix and into the games tab, the game is there and it starts up perfectly.
  3. Well the missing scoring forwards STAG stats are in the screenshots above. The training in the screenshots hasn't been selected, so can't be sure. I haven't used another skin, so that shouldn't be the issue. I agree it is/was a long shot. And massive respect to @wkdsoul for making such a good skin for attributeless players, it must have been quite a lot of work.
  4. Is this skin still supported? I noticed on the player's profile page on the training tab that the role/duty selection is actually the additional focus (so that ones double). I also seem to miss the scoring forwards STAG stats?
  5. I don't think they lacked the team spirit 4 years ago. But that was when the "Golden generation" was at their peak and lost 0-1 vs a defensive cynical France. Problem is nothing has changed since then. Not the team (hardly injection of fresh blood), nor the system (with all it's faults like succumbing to easily under pressure). The only thing that changed is the age and motivation of the players. One went up, the other went down. It's a Pity the team windled down like this and the main responsible for this is the "coach" Martinez. He kept using the Same players, kept using the Same system, kept using the Same communication style (protecting the players, being positive when it's obvious things aren't etc).. I really hope after this WC a lot of things change...
  6. That's a wrong quote because it was Eden Hazard who made the comment about our defense being old. But yeah, the dressing room isn't optimal, I'm sure of that. Too many players over their peak but still thinking they are worth of a starting spot (like E. Hazard) while others who merit that starting spot more are left on the side (how must Trossard feel when E. Hazard got subbed for ... Dries Mertens instead of him??).. And sure, it isn't the youngest team, by far, but Ivan Perisic is 33 too and he ran Canada rampant today... Modric 37 joined in the fun of running the midfield. Much better than Kevin De Bruyne who just isn't up the level he is when playing for Manchester City. But then again, Kevin did complain many times already about the number of games they have to play, so I guess he 's just fed up with it?
  7. Didn't @Miles Jacobsonsay in a blog post that they had balanced this issue to help fans of long-term saves like himself?
  8. Type: Laptop Model: Asus TUF Gaming fx507zm CPU Model: Intel i7 12700H CPU Base Frequency: 2.30 GHz CPU Turbo Frequency: 4.70 GHz RAM: 16GB RAM Clockspeed: 4800 MT/s GPU: RTX 3060 Graphics Level in 3D: High Storage Type: SSD Benchmark A: 00 min 50 Sec Benchmark B: 04 min 25 Sec Benchmark C: 09 min 41 Sec Benchmark D: xx min xx Sec Pleasantly surprised with benchmark A & B but quite dissapointed with Benchmark C result. I haven't used a monitoring program, but I suspect the laptop is struggling with keeping the CPU at Turbo Speed at all times. My first 3D Mark result was also underwhelming (10750 CPU score on TimeSpy with noticably drop during the test) but some changes made it better (13950 and constant 4.1 Ghz clock). I hope to find out what the perfect settings are for FM with this laptop (very little information to find online) Edit: Did benchmark C again while looking at the "Armoury Crate" power management tool and saw that the CPU never went above 3547 Mhz and was quite often at only 2100 Mhz which is even below its base frequency. Call me confused because I am...
  9. Just started reading the FMFC post and already the 1st topic speaks of more inbox items...
  10. I'm getting a haircut tomorrow at 2 pm (Belgian time) so by 2:30pm I should be able to get my new profile picture ready for FM23. Just saying...
  11. If I remember it correctly, it was in his attributes combo video @Rashidisaid that the Collyer brothers wanted to create a game that simulates human behavior ON the pitch. I think this should still be the core priority of the game development, which means main focus has to go to the ME (and with it the visual representation of that human behavior). The better that representation, the bigger the immersion? And it does't need to be fancy graphics (although I would like that because loosy bad graphics gives the impression of an unfinished product or a hastened job done) because even with 2D you can feel quite immersed (maybe because you have you own imagination firing images). Now, as a football manager your direct impact on this human behavior on the Pitch is through your tactics, which is of course intertwined with the ME. Roles, team instructions, OI, personal instructions, set-pieces, it all contributes directly to the simulation of the human behavior on the Pitch and therefore should be top priority?! And not only for us as a human manager but also for the AI teams. Recognisable styles in different league etc. It's there but can be improved still I think? The next layer is, how as a football manager can we "influence" this human behavior. We might see a midfielder misplacing many passes so we want to change that. That is what training is for, amended with mentoring and could be further enhanced by meaningful player interaction (this is already partly in place by f.e. fining after bad match rating which might impact determination or work rate but can be expanded on.) Another aspect to take into account is player morale. Again partly in the game (broken promises anyone?) but this part still acts illogical sometimes. But here we are slowly entering the simulation of human behavior off the Pitch. The next layer is when we did all of the above but we're still not happy with what we see on the Pitch? So we want a "New" human. So here comes scouting and the transfer market into place. This still influences the human behavior we see on the Pitch but Very slightly only (f.e. when contract deal Falls through?) . It is still directed by human behavior (those pesky greedy agents) though and done pretty decently by the game. What can be improved though is how the AI does it longterm squad building (like some said too much based on CA and world reputation and not enough on PA f.e.) The other parts are for me personally less important because I don't see how they can meaningfully influence the human behavior on the pitch: staff meetings maybe to an extent but most importantly: media. I don't do press conferences. I don't care about them and if I could not even have the inbox item about what my assistant manager said, I would even be more happy. Like we can choose to receive or not receive training emails, we should be able to do the same for all inbox items we might get. Inbox hygiene is important to me in my professional life, so not being able to "achieve" this in FM is frustrating. What the game does well now is trying to cater for all tastes. Most layers I mentioned above you can delegate to staff (except for tactics and mentoring if I'm not mistaken) or ignore (some don’t care for player happiness at all) . If I would be able to seriously tinker with the amount of inbox items I get, that would be a huge step forward. I don’t want to be holidaying until the next match and Mark all items as Read because you might miss that one item that IS important to you. Not even mentioning holidaying might make you miss a meeting with the board and you might find yourself out of a job when you come back from the Beach... The inbox items are already labeled so I do think SI must be able to implement in a similar way we can customize our social feed? Which is another thing I absolutely don’t care for... The only thing I find interesting about the fans is how much they pay and with how many they are. I would love them to have better fashion taste too
  12. My biggest beef with FM isn't that there are so many inbox items and/or meetings, my beef is that you can't turn most of them off. They are forced down your throath, unless you holiday till next match and then just put all inbox items to "Read" which i've seen many veteran FM'ers do. That and the intermittent processing stops happening for no reason at all, even when you toned it down in the preferences. The game keeps feeling sluggish that way. Or like some mentioned, it feels like "Work". Maybe it's SI desire to simulate the life of a English football manager, but imho they are driving it too far and should limit it to only the fun stuff or at least allow players to limit the interaction to what that player finds fun. I for one want a game simulating the game of football, not a simulation of the work life of a football manager.
  13. Wow, those are nice numbers. While the turbo "clockspeeds" are similar it seems the 12th generation and the faster RAM does seem to make quite the difference.
