FYI really... After playing hundreds of hous already I finally broke over the horrid 'BING' for awards and decidided to try and fix it. After much trawling and trial and error ive sorted it Right click on the speaker icon in bottom right of task bar > sounds In the list of program events track down to 'exclamation' and set it to none and hit apply and no more 'BING' evrytime the news item is clicked. Ya welcome
