  1. I am playing as Schalke who, due to the finances they start with, have gone into administration. Players are being sold and understandably I have very little money to play with. From the sales, however, the board have given me some money and my salary cap still has some room However whenever I try to sign a player I am getting the agent message of not interested as I can't meet their financial demands - which would make sense for bigger named players but I am getting it from players on £100-200 a week yet I have 195k pw available so either that should be displaying as 0 pw available and I genuinely don't have that financial muscle OR there is a missing narrative saying don't wish to join with the club in administration OR there is some kind of blanket rejection filtering down from larger salaried players incorrectly flowing down to those I could realistically still sign
  2. This is likely to be a performance issue rather than a bug... I've noticed that when editing players attributes (the "edit attribute details" page for hidden attributes as opposed to the visible player attributes on the main screen) tabbing between each variable or clicking into a variable and it being ready to edit is really slow. It is not like this on the same tab for staff pages. It seems to be an issue specifically related to when you bring up the editor OVER their overview screen. When you bring it up when on the development or contract or transfer screens it runs quickly without any lag.
  3. I'm sorry I don't. I always use the 1 file rolling save method so don't have the back-ups. I think that save file is just after if I remember correctly
  4. I received an offer in the January transfer window for one of my best players - I was torn to sell as they actually offered a really good price (actually surprised my board didn't go over my head in truth) but being dead-on for promotion and a fan of the club the heart ruled the head and I didn't want to accept it In the interaction to persuade to stay I used the most logical choice to me about sticking around for us to get to the higher division but despite us being nearly 20pts clear at the top the response was that he didn't feel it was realistic. If he said he wasn't prepared to wait then that might make sense but he would know we are 20 points clear and its almost a certainty that we get promoted....
  5. Thanks - I was able to cancel the loan offer the next day after continuing and for context it isn't every offer, more every now and then - probably when the player is likely to join perhaps
  6. I have a multi-player game in progress and when I offer players via transfer-room for loan they often, naturally, come to the other human teams. But rather than something I can choose to accept or reject, the offers seem to be being auto dealt with - often with offers being made for the player. I have all of the transfer control (staff settings) set to me and as far as I can see I get no message saying the board have made that offer - it's just offered. Most of the time I can cancel the offer but having accepted the offer (as the team loaning the player) because if I don't the player will be upset (loan promise) the team that has made the bid now can't seem to cancel it either
  7. Match-Plans Not sure if this is a bug or what it is supposed to do? When I create a new match plan I can call it whatever I like and when I use a match plan I can see that name however when I import a match plan (whatever it is called) it gets labelled as default on the match plan page and next match when I am asked if I want to use a match plan when auto-resulting the match. Ideally these would be named separate things so that I can more easily choose the right one
  8. While I appreciate that "instant results" are not part of the FM skin I am sure SI are aware that other skins provide the capability I am running a large game with multiple teams so utilising this feature for every game with every team. I am getting several instances where players are unhappy with the team talks that I am providing (I'm obviously not saying anything) to them either too harsh (had this when losing and when winning) or too lenient (in defeat) and while I can promise to do better (can't control this) or try to convince them otherwise I am ending up with unhappy players
  9. I have uploaded a file for another issue - royal rumble 24_s00 if that helps?
  10. Update - it is the same for the Euro & conference league drawers at the group stage draw
  11. The draw for the champions league group stage came around and the button for "view draw" would not work. I was forced to click skip draw to advance. This was the same for all of the teams I have running. Draws for the conference league and europa league have worked fine however think I only have 1 team in each of these competitions
  12. Typically the second / third / fourth manager in a save but also if you start a new game and use the same profile as previously without editing the manager profile
  13. Not specific to FM24 but still an "issue" in this version of the game 2 scenarios... 1 - I offer to clubs (now offer via transfer room) for a player (to sell or for loan) - something like a fee + a % of future locked in, or a loan (quite often no set fee no set wages but locked in squad status) - all good, and often I either get offers that match this or I don't. I accept those (or my staff do) so long as they do match, which most of them do. So far so good.... Fast forward often less than 24 hours new offers come in with no relevance to what I have just said e.g. I have said must be a regular starter and the clubs are like fringe player okay?? If this was a few weeks later I might understand but they have likely just been told what I am looking for... 2 - I am accepting, rejecting and upping the asking price to maximise my players value. A club has offered 7 million and I get an offer for 8, I reject the 7 millions and accept the 8m. I may offer him again for 8 or try my luck higher. Either way a club that had had a previous offer - lets say 7 million, maybe 6 if a previous round - will offer 4 million. I get that they may not go higher but they know what was rejected so why would I accept lower? Ideally if you have offered someone via transfer room it would be a semi-permanent record e.g. this is what I am looking for (locked or flexible) and this acts as the starting point for teams in the future rather than them assuming its a completely blank slate and forgetting previous guidance like a giant goldfish
  14. There is a button when you create a manager (it's ticked by default) but there is no option to disable tutorials completely. If you then start a new game with the same profile or decide to play a game with the same profile managing multiple teams it re-ticks itself and even if you edit the profile to untick it again it doesn't seem to work
