  1. Sorry, what question are you responding to exactly? You’re either seeing the issue or you’re not, I’m not even sure what point it is you’re trying to make.
  2. Hi all Currently playing in the Vanarama South, 3 seasons in. Took some time to have a proper look around the leagues to see what’s happening around the world in my game, and was quite concerned by some of the transfer business. The main issues I saw were a) AI clubs (mainly in the prem) spending millions on players, then selling them a year later for half what they bought them for; and b) AI clubs buying multiple players in the transfer windows but then never seeming to play them (for example West Ham have bought about 5 players in game and almost every one of them fails to start even 10% of games) I can sort of understand issue A to an extent. Premier league clubs often overpay for players given the money they have, which quite often leads to a loss a year later when it doesn’t work out and they decide to sell. But something just seems really off this year compared to previous and feels a little bit immersion breaking. Is anyone else seeing this or similar issues?
  3. The thing I've picked up on is that there doesn't seem to be a consistent message as to what style you want to play. I'm not a tactical whizz, far from it, but it looks to me like you're setting up with a high tempo pressing game off the ball, but on the ball you're a bit all over the place. Your instructions seem to suggest you want to control possession, but the player roles don't. You've got one single player in the midfield with a creative role, your defenders in a pretty flat back 4, and the front 4 all making runs into/around the box. So I think you need to decide what you want here. If it's a possession game you want i'd probably change the roles so you've got more players that want and are open to receive the ball. If you want to get the ball to Vlahovic and support around him, i'd remove the possession based team instructions. I think you also need one of your full backs helping out more, either by putting one on attack or making sure they have the trait to get forward.
  4. Sounds like the game is pretty accurately portraying the type of rubbish you read every day on Twitter from football 'fans'!! On a serious note, I think the whole social media thing on FM is completely broken and you're better off ignoring it completely.
  5. You're highlighting the wrong thing. You're looking at his actual playing time, not his agreed playing time. Go to happiness and see what his agreed playing time is. If it's anything above 'impact sub' then he's not getting what he's been promised.
  6. I'd probably have the middle defender on a cover duty - especially where you're forcing the opposition outside, which is likely to drag the LCB/RCB's out of position if the oppo get in behind the wing backs. I'd also think carefully about having both WB's on Attack duty as in the first screenshot. Attack duty means that when your team has the ball the WBs starting position would be much higher up the pitch. You might want to drop one to support to give the CB's an option to play out to, or potentially add a BPD to the defence of a playmaker into the middle who can drop in and collect the ball.
  7. Was going to add this. Helps morale and seems to overall improve relationship with players. Make sure you tell players they trained well though and don't select the 'you're developing well option'. Some don't like the latter where as the former never seems to get a bad reaction.
