What a game!! The new FMs, as much as I love them don't quite hit as hard as the early day games. That's probably because I'm older, wise and have high expectations 😉 Did I say, great thread BTW ✋👍

It's crazy how quickly things can change in FM23 to.... I've literally done everything possible and still getting defeated. The only thing it could be is this

Funny enough I've had the same issue. Second season with Scarborough Ath playing in the national League. I won 12 of my first 13 games, then lost 10 out of the next 14 games. Just not realistic, I'm really struggling to turn it around.

I'm sure alot of people have different opinions, for me SI focus on the wrong things. Adding additional conversation options with agents is NOT a headline feature. At this rate we will be spending half the game speaking to the media, agents and ensuring the players are happy by telling them well done you are training well lol.

Does anyone else feel like FM needs some fresh ideas and drive from some new visionaries? Sigames are no longer pushing boundaries. SI have taken the Apple model... same product, tweak it ask for money. Frustrations will continue until such time another football manager game appears that can challenge the FM monopoly. Whilst I'm disappointed (AGAIN) for £30 i'm still going to buy it - What choice do I have lol

Absolutely, however I would never of learnt the tactics without FM. Full circle...

Take my money!!! The amount of hours I've spent on FM over the years I'm sure the cost averages out at about £0.000001 per hour 😂

So, long term lurker of these forums, I've played FM for over 10 years. I decided to take over my daughters footy team a year a go and over that time I have taught them some corner and free kick tactics which I learnt from FM and they only bloody work 😂😂 Watching them scoring from a tactic I used for Brecia in fm14 brought a tear to my eye. Unreal that such a game can influence the real world. We recently won a tournament and 5 out of the 7 goal came from FM influenced tactics. High press, short passing, work the ball into the box are the favs. The girls and parents think I'm a tactical genius, little do they know 😉 So thank you from me guys, looking forward to getting my teeth into FM23.
