  1. Hi guys, I think it would be a great idea if you could - say after a few years with a club - that when you resign or go to another club, that you could recommend your "successor", not unlike SAF did with David Moyes. It would be great from an immersive perspective - and the club doesn't have to agree but there should be some look at the tenure when the decision is being made. Imagine you're in a 10 year game, you're about to leave the club, but one of your champion players has been your understudy for the last few years, and you recommend they take over?
  2. August 2022 Bit of a hit and miss month here. I've brought in Chris Herd, yet another Australian to slot into the DM role. I've also brought in Lewis Budinauckus from Rangers as a backup keeper option as none of our keepers are that great. I tried to get Ben Garratt across the line at the end but no dice. Still, a solid start to the season and we're second, facing first place Dundee at the beginning of September.
  3. July 2022 Well, it's been an interesting month. I've managed to get Malachi Boateng off the books, which has allowed me to increase my scouting range, but also, bring in Jordon Hall from Melbourne City, and Mitch Austin on a free, although I am on the look out for a new DM and GK. Some big wins but we were humbled by Kilmarnock in a result that didnt really reflect how we played. That said, we have finished top of the table in the Premier Sports Cup, and now face Motherwell. Can't complain about that.
  4. Breaking the duopoly For years, the Glaswegian duopoly has ruled - it's been 67 years since four different teams have won the SPL in four years - with Celtic or Rangers being the side of choice in recent history. So I've decided I'm going to start this as a fun save, starting with Queens Park, seeing if I can't turn a duopoly into a three-way Glaswegian epic for the title each year. More Glasgow derbies each year when we make the Scottish prem has gotta be a good thing right? Hampden Park in its glory days...
  5. Youth Intake I spy at least two possible converts!
  6. May 2023 Well that was an interesting finals series. We leave it late against Western United but capitulated against Melbourne Victory. All in all though, a solid season - something we can build on and hopefully have Veneracion leading from the front.
  7. April 2023 Well, that's a way to end the season! We finish just one goal away from a home final with Manolo Veneracion's 14th and 15th goal coming in the final match in a 2-1 victory. A fifth placed finish now sees us face up against Western United away from home instead of a home final.
  8. March 2023 March is for Manolo! Veneracion, no sooner had he fully converted to a striking role, finally found his shooting boots, and even scored his debut hat-trick against Macarthur in front of his home fans! Unbelievable stuff! With just four games to go, we look likely to snare a home final at the very least, but if we can cheekily finish in the top two, we get a bye through to the semi-finals of the final series. Crazy!
  9. Our first convert! It's official, he's actually a striker out right based on this training. Aidan Coyne is still only a DC though.
  10. February 2023 Three wins on the trot including a huge win against Melbourne City. Veneracion scored the decisive goal in the win against the Jets which delighted the home fans and we're now firmly entrenched in the top six. With just eight games to go, we could possibly make the finals at the first attempt - knocking off one of my first challenges! Veneracion also has five goals to his name so far this season.
  11. January 2023 Another close month, and we're still in a healthy 8th spot. Veneracion got another goal - which brings his tally to four for the season however he is taking his time adjusting to the new position.
  12. December 2022 An injury against Western United saw Veneracion sidelined for a couple of weeks, with Aidan Coyne coming in and scoring against Macarthur FC. A big home win just before Xmas against the Phoenix sees us sitting in a solid eighth position, meaning a top six position is not out of reach.
  13. November 2022 A short month but a bit of a mixed bag due to the World Cup. In other news, the Aussies won the U-19 Asian Cup! But still need to get some more goals out of Veneracion otherwise I may have to switch him up with Aidan Coyne.
  14. October 2022 Okay, somewhat of a mixed bag this month. We got off to a loss and a draw before finally getting it together with a 3-2 win, with Veneracion scoring his first two career goals! Burke-Gilroy did sneak a goal in against Adelaide United, so we're dong alright, currently 5th on the table.
