  1. As I've had to given up Sweden due to staff hiring shenanigans , it's off to good old England, for bingo in Basingstoke. There are some good things about this team namely the junior coaching, and some bad, though the affiliates can hopefully be cancelled / ignored without too much trouble. The Fulham link is technically the better of the two, just shared scouting knowledge. and hey it's me,
  2. Looks like I'm going to have to call it a day in Sweden. I've been completely unable to hire any new staff over the winter break. Most new staff want wages of £400 per week, my board is being generous and giving me a budget of £200 per week, and when asked to increase it, they did. To £200 per week.
  3. Always fun when you're trying to sign the team up to full time contracts, and two of the best players don't want to sign.
  4. Season 3 - 2026-2027 A slightly better points haul from last season getting into the play-off spot, a pair of one all draws means we had to do things the hard way, eventually winning in after 6 pens. Promotion now also means professional status, And the luxury of a 3rd coach for training. And sorting everyone's contract in case some big teams try and poach some players. It's also probably going to Soderstrom's last game for the team, He was complaining most of the season about not playing in his preferred role, even if he was playing as a striker. Full fixtures in the spoiler, The youth intake for this season was mainly defensively focused, so I'm not going to complain, Definitely going to have to tighten things up at the back to not fall straight back down again. The two stand out players being Andersson and Kristoffersson, With the 2nd of the two being someone who should be able to deal with high crosses just by standing there. Full intake is the spoilers, The two tactics I was using did leave to more goals being scored, sadly at both ends, so some further tweaking might be required.
  5. Korvalis - Lidingö - Season 2 2026/27 Missed out on the play-off spot mostly due to early season form, some adjustments in the July break period did help, but a bit too little too late to push on for one of the promotion spots. Full list of results in the spoiler Down the middle for season 2 youths Just the one player really stands out from the elite players The full list of Intakes, did bring up a few interesting 2nd Nationalities of Burundi, Lebanese, and Moroccan. With the Burundi player being the 1st youth player not born in Lidingö. The 4 month break before the new season also means I'll be able to work on the National B License. Though with a "Full" squad of around 50 players including all the youth prospects, most of this week is probably going to be spent formation planning / training planning. At a quick glance, the team is very midfield heavy, so it may end up with a 3-5-2 or even a 3-6-1.
  6. Korvalis - Lidingö - Season 1 2025/26 Drawing nearly half your games is certainly a novel way to win the league, Thankfully on the run in for the last 3 games, it was the teams in 12th and 13th, before a final day show down with Sollentuna, with the team just needing a draw to lift the trophy. Thankfully the team is well versed in drawing matches, and saw them off on the final day with a somewhat nervy 2-2 draw, after being 2 up at half time. Full results for the season in the Spoiler below. Early assessment was okay, if a little biased towards the left side of the pitch Full intake had a couple of good players who could easily slot in to first team straight away, Ungh and Hartzell did so for the last couple of games of the season, both contributes with some goals also. Finally, as a bonus at the end of the season, and helped by the fact there was a four month period before the next season, I could finally do some more paperwork.
  7. Sweden promotion date appears to be 25 Dec 2024,. Saving on 15 Oct 2024 should generate new teams. The "safe" date for new teams isn't exact, but 15 Oct gave new teams, 22 Oct didn't. Speaking of which, I'll be taking on the challenge of IFK Lidingö FK, has a decent sized squad, and most of the squad is early to mid twenties
