No, I added a bunch of players to a shorlist, then i assigned the scouts to do a report, which normally goes for a week. However, after the first day, when they come back with their initial grade, i then cancelled the scouting. As of right now, all of my scouts are unassigned, but players just keep getting added to the scouting priorities list.

I cannot figure out how to keep the computer from adding players to my scouting priorities. I looked at a bunch of players and did a quick scout for a day, then cancelled the assignments to build my initial database. However, the computer for some reason continues to add players into the scouting priority list that I have no interest in looking at. How do I keep the computer from adding players that I have no interest in scouting? I have checked the responsibilities section and I am in charge of setting scout priorities.
