  1. Adding to this, I was able to get it to work for £0 up front, £1k instalments and After League Appearances of £2.1-2.9m. The amount of games and length/frequency of instalments (so 6/12 month both work). You can also seemingly add any clause(s) (for example they pay 50% of wages) and it’ll be accepted It does not work if you replace After League Appearances with After International Appearances. £2m or less also gets rejected immediately Interestingly when increasing after league appearances to £3m with £1k instalments the other team negotiate it but keep it at a really low price.
  2. Thanks for your help, definitely got me away from a potential rabbit hole! After a bit of tinkering I’ve been able to set a league system up in the form needed, having some issues with passing results through to the league stage but I’ll look more into that tomorrow.
  3. So this may seem quite niche, and it is, but I’m trying to learn how to set up a competition with a Swiss system format like the CL group stages. The U21 PL uses something similar in game so I’ve been experimenting with that. I’ve been able to reduce the league down to 10 teams, with 2 ‘seeding’ groups: 5 U21 teams from the PL, 5 from the Championship and have made the league season be 6 fixtures long. However where I’m struggling is being able to have each team play 3 teams from each ‘seeding group’ to make up their 6 fixtures. Everything else has remained the same. Leaving it by default gives some teams this layout but others have 4 from one and 2 from the other group. I can’t see an option that stands out as having the ability to force this constraint within the league rules, is there a way of setting this up so this is the case? If not would it be possible to use the custom fixture list section to do that manually? (wouldn’t mind being directed to an explainer on that as I’ve not really got how it works nor can find a guide on the forums) Hope that was clear enough, I can post the editor data file/screenshots I’ve been using tomorrow if needed. Also if this setup isn’t mathematically possible let me know as it’s not that easy to find info on generating fixtures for this format, and I’m not 100% sure if it can actually be done. Thanks!
  4. Clubs are offering contracts to free agent Aibol Abiken, who is banned from playing football until 29/4/26. I don't think this happened in previous FMs so I presume this is a bug?
  5. Another note: when adding another manager into the game, I can select from all loaded leagues. So this seems to only affect the first manager created
  6. Starting a career mode game in Real World and Your World modes does not allow selection from other playable nations which are not the selected start date. On the initial window I selected this option, then selected both real world and your world in both tests with an advanced setup This is the database screen, both England and Scotland are listed as playable with no key staff and attribute masking disabled. Custom database setup below Database loaded in as normal. On the create manager screen, Scotland is greyed out. I can select all english leagues. Quick note: this doesn't happen on the original mode. Two other people I know have the same issue. Also unsure if this is a bug or is meant to happen too tbf. Clip below from streamer who did a similar setup but with France https://clips.twitch.tv/AstuteFineSrirachaTakeNRG-jBUlJ1XPrePszXG8
