  1. Football irl does involve a lot of luck. I always say there’s not much point playing the same match multiple times and expecting to see realistic outcomes. Years ago I used to replay games when I thought I got a really dodgy result but I never replay games anymore. I just take the L and move on and I find it’s a lot less stressful and rewarding. Also if it was the same result in all 4 games people would say it’s scripted.
  2. Never once seen a keeper bring a striker down when one on one and be sent off or give away a penalty. Pretty unrealistic really and surely something that should have been in the game many many years ago.
  3. In my experience top strikers miss far too many one on ones in FM however there are way to many one on one situations so games would probably end 7 all if they scored the expected amount.
  4. Yes seeing the same, got a squad player playing every week at the moment and he’s showing as surplus to requirements. Not the first time this has happened either.
  5. 3D and extended, I find this gives me enough info to make the tactical changes needed.
  6. Makes sense doesn’t it? Clubs negotiating the offer to get a better deal? I tend not to let my director of football make any decisions though as they are usually beyond useless.
  7. I had this too as stopped getting them even though I had a scout assigned. I tried hiring another scout specifically for this and assigned him to report then somehow I started getting the reports again but from the original scout.
  8. Played quite a few seasons now so just some observations below. They are obviously all criticisms but as usual I am really enjoying the game and there are so many positives about it. • A lot of one on ones missed by high level forwards. However I think there are way too many one on one chances in the game so if more were scored it would often be a goalfest. • Not enough scrappy or deflected goals. • I don’t remember ever coming up against teams that lump the ball into the box from deep, especially when trailing late on, they all try and play through you or cross from the byline still. • Players too often annoyed if you encourage them • Match ratings too high for players that have missed chance after chance or defenders that have made big mistakes that have led to conceding goals. • Corner takers regularly offside as the ball is passed straight back to them. • Throw ins regularly thrown straight to the opposition. • Set piece set ups need to be far more customisable than they are. • Match review training should not have to be the day after the game, I’m sure irl most teams would do these on a Monday morning when playing on a Saturday. • Press conference questions and answers often have nothing to do with the up coming game. Why are you asking me about an 18 year old I have out on loan that no one would know or care about? • Fouls just outside the box going to var when it is very clear it’s outside the box and never a penalty.
  9. Yes have 2 players in that position, one more of a goal scorer and one more of a creator so just depends what I feel I need for the game. That’s exactly how it plays out too, SS gets more goals, AP gets more assists.
