Played quite a few seasons now so just some observations below. They are obviously all criticisms but as usual I am really enjoying the game and there are so many positives about it.
• A lot of one on ones missed by high level forwards. However I think there are way too many one on one chances in the game so if more were scored it would often be a goalfest.
• Not enough scrappy or deflected goals.
• I don’t remember ever coming up against teams that lump the ball into the box from deep, especially when trailing late on, they all try and play through you or cross from the byline still.
• Players too often annoyed if you encourage them
• Match ratings too high for players that have missed chance after chance or defenders that have made big mistakes that have led to conceding goals.
• Corner takers regularly offside as the ball is passed straight back to them.
• Throw ins regularly thrown straight to the opposition.
• Set piece set ups need to be far more customisable than they are.
• Match review training should not have to be the day after the game, I’m sure irl most teams would do these on a Monday morning when playing on a Saturday.
• Press conference questions and answers often have nothing to do with the up coming game. Why are you asking me about an 18 year old I have out on loan that no one would know or care about?
• Fouls just outside the box going to var when it is very clear it’s outside the box and never a penalty.
