  1. I repeatedly get blue screen of death "Critical Process Died" when playing FM24, on Windows 11 (Lenovo Legion T7). This not only interrupts my playing but also frequently corrupts the savegame - sometimes even to the extent that multiple backup versions of the savegame get corrupted. The last time it happened I lost two months of in-game progress and now I've practically given up on playing the game anymore (THREE backups of the save were corrupted!) - The BSOD only happens when playing FM24, no other games or applications cause this - I have no custom skins or editor data loaded - Every driver on the entire computer is updated, and Windows or Lenovo troubleshooting software reports no errors - The BSODs can happen at basically any time except while in match. The computer doesn't even seem to be working that hard, I might be browsing a player shortlist or even just viewing a news item.
  2. Just tried it with a 4-3-3 DM Wide, with one IWB(A) and one IFB(D) to either side of the centerbacks. Mezzala on one MC, CM on the other. Wingers on the flanks, widest possible setting on the In Possession screen (trying to emulate Girona's tactics). Looks almost right, the only trouble is that the LB (IWB) doesn't seem to want to join the MCs in the line of 3 behind the striker - he stays abreast of the DM instead, creating a 3-2-2-3 instead of the 3-1-3-3 I want...
  3. Yeah I get what you mean, but i *still* think pass completions in the attacking half are way too high. It's a bit harder to find that stat from FM, but here's one match where FC Osaka had 82,3% successful passes in the attacking half. Only 11 passes were intercepted (Orange) , none were blocked, 23 were mishit (Yellow) and didn't find a team-mate and 4 went out of play (Red). Compare that to 177 successful passes (Green). I find that hard to believe for a team in J-League2. So I think that defensive positioning and pressing close to own goal, especially in a set piece situation, are a bit too slack. Either that or Passing 8 is almost the same as Passing 16 when the match engine is concerned.
  4. https://www.jleague.co/stats/clubs/j2/2023/pass_rate/ I just checked real life passing stats for J League 2 and they are vastly lower.
  5. One thing that seems off for me is that even crap teams are great at passing. This is J-League 2, second season. 3 teams as good as City at passing? The worst team completing 79% of passes is too high. Might explain why defensive tactics do nothing to stop goals coming through. Another thing that seems a bit off is that the finishing is too good - most teams are overperforming vs xG.
