  1. Just seen this and thought you fellas would be interested: https://www.sportbible.com/football/football-news/crewe-afc-football-manager-non-league-331676-20240121 Good luck!
  2. I knew you wouldn't regret it @gggfunk It's ace. Although I don't think you've anything to be concerned about regarding the steam cloud saves, I've played multiple seasons and never had any issue with the limit.
  3. Thanks for posting this. I've also had this issue, I'm managing Inter Milan (defending Serie A champions) and so I'm almost always the dominant team in games. So this originally lead me to playing very high lines both offensively and defensively, short passing, slow tempo and counter-pressing in a 4-1-2-2-1 system with an advanced forward and 2 AMCs feeding him, as well as 2 attacking wingbacks providing crosses (see attached) - and this resulted in Lautaro Martinez getting 52 and 48 goals in each of the previous 2 seasons on FM23 (I ported this save over into FM24). Since FM24, however, I've seen a significant decrease in his goals scored or involvement in team build-up play (he's often mentioned as being isolated in the Last Match Passing comments, and I've tried changing his role to be a more deep-lying one (DLF, CF-SU etc..) with no joy. He just wasn't making the same forward runs he was on FM23, never breaking into the box and so no through balls were played into him. I should mention here that I hadn't changed his traits at all as a player. And then very recently I had a bit of a break-through, I lowered my lines to mid-block with a high defensive line, but kept the trigger press set to 'more often', set my passing to standard with a standard tempo (on balanced or positive mentality), and gave Martinez a bit more support with a Shadow Striker behind him...and NOW I'm seeing those attacking runs into the space behind the opposition. It's only been 2 games but what I'm seeing is much more like it. It may not be the answer you're looking for @dmayne07, but it's helped my team. I wasn't losing games but they always seemed more of a frustrating slog until now in FM24 with TONNES of corners (even when I'm pretty sure the ball touched no one) something SI are aware of and need to fine tune.
  4. Definitely message Valve, they're usually very lenient on these types of things.
  5. You can bring this controller config mapping up at any point during the game and change it to suit you. It's very easy to download community profiles or change what each button or the trackpads do yourself.
  6. will I be able to log in to my steam account on the Steam Deck as well? Or I need to have 2 separate accounts and buy two games to be able to play on those two devices alternately? Yes you can use your steam account on your steam deck, and no you won't need to buy 2 games. If I can stick to one account, will saving game on cloud let me play the same save on both devices too? Yes. Also, are custom skins displayed well on the deck, or the default skin is the only way to play? Yes you can install and use skins. Finally, I know that FM23 was officially verified for Steam Deck, what about FM24? Is it going to be verified as well? Its not currently, but it works just as well as FM23. It's just a matter of time before it's officially verified.
  7. I saw a similar offside goal in my save and reported it in the bugs forum. SI have acknowledged it as something they're already aware of and are investigating.
  8. Whilst I completely agree with these issues you've highlighted, as I've seen all of them in my own new save. However, in my ported FM23 save I was not seeing them, at all. I'm not sure why this would be, but I'm pausing my new save and going back to my ported FM23 save. I'll report back if I do see them happen though.
  9. I'm managing Liverpool and we had an away match coming up against Manchester City, and so my supporters pipe up with 'we anticipate a tight game'. That's reasonable. I play the match and, despite the goalkeeper injury bug meaning I have to play my awful U21 keeper in nets, we draw 0-0. Really happy with that! I then take a look at my supporter confidence page and they're now very disappointed with my 0-0 draw with City.
  10. I played a League Cup game, a competition that features VAR, and the opponent scores a goal that is offside when the final pass is made. I've uploaded the match for your convenience, it's the Elanga goal score in the 20th min for Forest. Liverpool v Nottingham Forest.pkm
  11. For what it's worth @Michael Sant I did not experience these keeper injuries at all in my save ported over from FM23, but I am in a fresh FM24 save. Happy to provide saves if needed.
  12. Haha! You were dead right to mock me. What was I thinking!? I panicked and loaned the first player I saw in the player list without making sure he was a keeper. Christ almighty, not my finest moment as a top flight manager. I'm only sorry for your own keeper injury.
  13. Managing Liverpool and during the first international break I had Alisson, Kelleher and Adrian all out injured for 2-4 weeks. I had to play my U21, 1 star, keeper against City (who themselves had Ederson out injured too)....drew that 0-0 (should've won it to be fair). So now I have to bring in Kubo, a Japanese keeper from Sociedad, on loan until they return. It wasn't just keepers injured during the break, Szoboslai and a few others were injured too. I'll keep an eye on when, and who, is injured for the rest of the season.
