David Martinez, signed from at the start of season 2 from Monagas in Venezuela where he's on a youth contract. 800k compensation rising to a little over £1m which is just a ridiculous bargain. He was signed as a breakthrough prospect, but he's forced his way into the team and has just come 2nd in the 2025 NxGn. Luciano Rodriguez, 3m from Liverpool in Uruguay. Hasn't had as much impact as I would've liked mostly because of the emergence of Martinez. Hopefully he has a little more room to grow to improve his mentals a little. Lamine Camara, 6.25m release clause from Metz. Already very well rounded and still plenty of room to improve. And finally Costinha, 3m from Rio Ave. Good attacking full back.

Love this, I've just spent the best part of a decade in-game bringing NK Celik up from the Bosnian 3rd tier to become the biggest team in Bosnia and probably the best team in the whole Balkans. Really glad to see you've gone with Velez too, the mention of Mostar in the opening post had me concerned you'd gone for Zrinjski and that would've been unforgivable Good luck, I had a lot of fun in the league and there's so much room for improvement, it's so satisfying increasing the rep and coefficients year on year and seeing the marginal improvements to the national team. And the big 3 will always be tough to overcome because they start so far ahead of everyone else, although Zeljeznicar did have quite an interesting journey on my save with a couple of relegations early on.

Great work once again, these files add so much to the FM experience and playing without them makes the game feel a bit empty. Finally I can start a Bosnian youth save!

I haven't had a good Scandi save since Fredrikstad on FM17 or 18, so I started on day 1 of the beta with Elfsborg. We don't really have anyone who is a real top talent, but there are one or two who could be decent Championship/lower PL level players. The screenshots are all from August 2024. And some I've brought in from other clubs: Obviously Bergvall is quite well known, had to entice him here on loan to begin with but he's pretty much my best player already. 100k total loan fee and 190k transfer fee. I also signed his brother Theo. Smajic came in from Landskrona for 300k Tsotidis joined for 250k from Djurgardens Ondreijka started at the club but I lost him in this current transfer window for his low release clause of 1.4m. He had offers from the likes if Milan, Inter and Juventus but I like that he chose Spezia for a bigger role in the team.

Impressive start, nice gap opened up between 2nd and 3rd already but keeping up with Fulham in the second half of the season is going to be quite difficult, once injuries/fatigue/general Stoke-ness sets in.

As a Stoke fan, it's always interesting to see what other people make of us on FM. I can't help but feel a little something at you letting Souttar go for £650k
