  1. I find you're being disingenuous here. Ive already acknowledged that I dont expect the game to be perfect, and that issues that are more complex or are rare cant be fixed in a jiffy. However the issue here is not complex and its not rare. Players complain about their valuations all the time. Player says value X is too high, and as solution proposes value Y which is even higher. Its dumb, its immersion breaking and its lazy. it wasnt an issue in FM21. And when there are complex issues (like AI squad building, or player interactions), dont say you have fixed them when it takes a few tests to make clear they arent
  2. Sorry I dont buy those excuses anymore. Sure, it will never be perfect. thats not what we ask. We ask that common sense is employed and the game is tested properly. Its been 3 years without proper progress and the same stuff just coming back. Its a game about mostly numbers. And you cant code it so that entity X recognises value A is higher than value B? Might as well insert a random number generator at that point instead of code.
  3. Honestly, its either lazy artificial difficulty barrier, or just incompetent coding at this point. -"Boss, Im unhappy with my asking price of 5M, its too high" -"Ok, what price do you suggest?" -"ill settle for 7M" That **** like this makes it past quality control is disgusting and makes you wonder if there is any quality control. And a new match engine isnt going to fix this
  4. But thats not what the player/game is saying. He thinks a ligue 2 team has a better squad than a Serie A team, which seems improbable. Then his reply should be that troyes provides more stability, or has better long term prospects. or whatever. But its painfuly obvious that the player made his choice because of reputation. And reputation is beyond borked in FM
  5. Id honestly be shocked if they actually manage to do in FM25 what they've promised they would do for FM24 (player interactions, AI squad building) also how reputation works desperatly needs an overhaul
  6. Oh I know. i just like to point out that the counterargument "SI says all attributes matter" is pretty meaningless to me (and I think a lot of others) as SI also said they had improved the aforementioned gameplay aspects..... If anything it makes me more sceptic of it
  7. Again, there have been plenty of reports/complains about AI squad building and player interactions/promises being *****. They were supposed to be improved/fixed in FM24, and it turns out they werent. So is the problem players not filing bug reports per se, or is the problem players not filing bug reports because it doesnt seem to do anything anyway?
  8. Yes, the valuable time they spent on improving player interactions, AI squad building/rotation and a functional J-league.... Sorry, couldnt help to be sarcastic there. I agree that tests will always be flawed in some way of another (and personally I hate holidaying seasons as a test method). I'd like to see someone like evidence based FM have a go at this. But it does all point to the same-ish conclusion, thats a bit of a tell. It also aligns with my personal experiences (limited as they might be). I honestly dont have another explanation how this guy, with no (supposedly) relevant mental attribute above 10, got twice player of the year in the championship. Oh wait, he jumps high and runs fast....
  9. Noticed that the comparison screen tells me this year I have the best vision, flair and decision in the league so be more expressive is a no brainer, right?
  10. still on FM23. I can tell by hitting having 2.5 woodwork hit average per game
  11. Suslov is my best player and has a weak right foot unfortunately. Would changing Hove to a CM(s) provide better balance? he does have the trait gets forwards whenever possible and move into channels, so he might still act offensive. Id like to keep Antman as a playmaker yes, as I have similar backups for him. The idea is to give him forward options to spread the ball around. either the marauding left back, the CM(a) or the AF who are going forwards, and give it to one of the wide players Unfortunatly Antman has poor balance and positioning. Also I'd like to keep Willems as a CWBa cause he is a bit of a mini theo hernandez. not great in defensive aspect, but can bomb forward whenever he wants with good technicals
  12. Ive always struggled with the correct DM role. The instructions just look to similar Which role ould you give the DM in this tactic? Ive opted for an anchor but torn between that and DM(d) or halfback
  13. what is his tactical knowledge and judging ability personally, if my assmann has anything lower than 17 in Tactical knowledge, i ignore him by default
