Yeah I noticed the same. Also, check the Argentinian newgens, most of them are named Tomás. Extremely annoying and immersion breaking in my opinion. I have the in game editor so whenever I encounter one of these "in the wild" (as in, not actively searching for newgens) I change their first name to one from a random Argentine name generator (?) I found online. Still far from ideal.

Looking forward to how this save develops! I've always enjoyed playing in the former Eastern Bloc countries in FM, I've had really fun saves in the past in Russia and Ukraine (go figure). What database are you using that allows Russian teams to compete in Europe?

Are the changes in this update limited to China or does it include changes for other countries as well?

There will be no Chinese patch, the devs said that the last data update was the final one for this edition of the game.

I don't know about the Russian league but the Russian NT has been playing some friendlies lately IRL so they should be able to play friendlies in FM as well (probably not against NATO countries lol).

I've always been curious about playing in the MLS but the roster rules seem too convoluted for me, I remember a few editions back I started a save with Minnesota but after the first season I had to release a lot of players because of the salary cap and it was a major bummer Good luck!
