  1. I started using such hybrid between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3. Generally I love it, it's pretty versatile tactic with various types of goals etc. The only thing that annoys me is that in possesion, my CM (A) positions himself almost always near the left side. His PI's are "more roaming", "take more risk" and "move into channels". I expect him to make more moves near my AP(S) but somehow he chooses the left channel and my stiker the right one. I tried to remove his PI's, I tried the other players on the CM but also CF positions (both my starting players are left footed, I thought that this might have some impact on their moves) but nothing changed. I also changed my tactic to be the mirror version: AP(S) on the left and IF(A) on the right, VOL on the DMR, DM on the DML. Still the same - CM(A) almost always positions himself on the left side of my striker. What else could I try? Any ideas?
  2. Did you even bother to watch the clips from pkm's?
  3. No. This option is related to player's attributes screen. And the problem is with his training view.
  4. German database is to harsh and the attributes of players in Bundesliga are undervalued in comparison to other top leagues. I wrote about it in the right topic.
  5. Unfortunately not a single one regarding the issue I wrote about.
  6. Players attributes are sorted in "english" order in players training view. Extremely annoying bug. How on earth it wasn't noticed during testing??
  7. 53:18 and 64:50 Lyon - Toulouse.pkm
  8. 53:00 61:05 75:10 80:30 85:10 Lens - Lyon.pkm
  9. 61:30 and 72:25 Aberdeen - Köln.pkm
  10. Hi, one of the most annoying things in current ME is the amount of corner-kicks. To many focus on wing play and to many crosses instead of attempting to play through the middle (even if I select this option in tactics creator). That's one thing, but second is the amount of silly and unrealistic decisions of defenders. These are two most common: 1. After a cross the defender is heading the ball behind the goal line instead of trying to clear it outside the penalty area - this is happening almost every match, sometimes 4 or 5 times. You can't see such behaviour IRL so often. Example of such strange decision starts around 8:00 minute in uploaded match (Morgalla headed the ball for a corner) 2. Players are panicking to easily and are kicking the ball for a corner instead of trying to clear it for a throw-in or to the middle of the pitch. They also very rarely head the ball to the goalkeeper's hands. They prefer to head it for a corner. Heidenheim - Köln.pkm
  11. I'm after half of the season in my first save, so my first thoughts about the match engine. TBH it looks pretty similar to the one in FM23, but slightly less entertaining :/ I don't know if it's just in my case, but the central play is almost absent. I haven't seen any through ball behind the defensive line in any of 17 games my team played. My central and attacking midfielders almost always look for a pass to the winger/fullback. I've tried couple of formations (4-4-1-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-2 diamond) with various mixes of roles and instructions (play narrower, work the ball into the box etc.) and it all looks the same. I always liked using Shadow Striker or CM (A), who were attacking the space behind the striker to go 1v1 against the keeper and score. Now they are useless. The players on the wing (even with the wide playmaker or advanced playmaker role) refuse to cut inside and try to pass through the middle. The inside forwards behave like typical wingers, attacking near the sideline and trying to cross the ball. Generally speaking, there are awful lots of crosses in my games and it's really hard to watch. Anyone has similar problems here? I haven't play beta, maybe it was a mistake. If I knew the ME looks like this I definitely wouldn't buy the game in it's current state.
  12. I don't know if this is a correct thread to write about it, but I'll try. I play mostly with german teams for a long time. I like to look at the editor or tools like GenieScout to see what is the potential of young players from various countries and IMO the german players have generally lower potential than other "big" football nations like England, France, Spain, Italy or Netherlands. There's always less players with big PA in Bundesliga than in other Top 5 leagues. The researchers who are responsible for Germany are either very harsh or don't have the info about other nations in the game. In current version I checked the Editor, to find out how many players have high random PA. 130-160: Germany - 14 Netherlands - 43 France - 36 England - 47 Italy - 23 Spain - 57 140-170: Germany - 3 Netherlands - 15 France - 16 England - 22 Italy - 7 Spain - 16 150-180: Germany - 4 Netherlands - 3 France - 8 England - 6 Italy - 4 Spain - 2 So only 21 german players in this range, with about 60 from Netherlands and France and over 70 from England and Spain. Even Italy has got more players with high potential. The crisis in german football is not as big. And the the problem of the low PA of young german players (in comparison with other big countries) is present in the game for a long time (at least couple of years). So once again - either the german researchers are too harsh or the researchers from other countries are too optimistic.
