I was thinking how to set up teams that can select players from other team in a sort of Provincial setting. So you have one Province team, with several teams below. By setting up affiliations between the Province and other teams you could have a system where you pick players from those teams. I am not sure whether the game likes this mechanic though in terms of squad building and such. Anyone has an idea if this could work?

I think I did a post on that last year after a question. Search for permit and see if something comes up. It’s a specific screen in advanced rules so does need editing those, but since it is contained on one screen, it isn’t that hard.

The Bosman verdict can be removed without issue. The Iron Curtain does so. I am contemplating whether to remove the Bosman verdict completely, or partially, as the original claim that Bosman put down with Belgian courts was smaller than what was eventually decided. Also, there is also the Kolpak ruling which has more impact.

There is a pc/laptop thread where you can post what you think you need and the people there will be able to point you towards a laptop that will run the game and editor quite nicely. Since that thread is full of good advice best to ask there.

On a sidenote, I really need to start gathering information on football controversies and see if I can alternate the competition histories as well (first and second level and main cup at most btw). Italy does provide some options for that, but my own Netherlands has some possibilities too.

You are right on pointing out the European influence on the rest of the world, that's why my focus is on getting Europe in order and it needs to be done while keeping in mind the effect on the rest of the world. For instance, I already have made one big change in Europe which has major implications for central Africa. At the same time, that European change and the knockon effect of it, does open up a road for changes in that central African area which actually do connect it to current day affairs. So two routes, real-life and the alternative history one, end up at the same junction in 2024. It's just that some of the variables have been changed which do change the balance of power in certain ways. PS: The area I am talking about in Africa is the DR Congo, but I am not telling you which butterfly flapped its wings

PA cannot go below CA, unless a human error is made when putting the values (there are a few of those in the database). With a generated PA based on the negative values, the value falls in the 160-170 range. Once the PA is set, it's only the CA that will change based on in-game events (training, games, injuries).
