  1. 4 of my team have damaged cruciate ligaments from in-match incidents after 5 league games - surely that’s not right?
  2. 3 players lost long term to damaged crucial ligaments after 5 league games in Switzerland with Neufchâtel Xamax! can only register a squad of 21 players as well - frustrating and assume an issue with release?
  3. Took Everton in first season to 4th in league, FA Cup Final (lost to Arsenal) and Carabao Semi Final (lost to Man U) DCL has been banging them in scoring 29 goals (4 of which were penalties) playing as a CF mainly Got Hudson Odoi and Pepe on loan and both were assist machines from the wings as IF’s with a few goals thrown in also Signed an ageing Paredes who done a great job and took goal of the season with a 30 yard strike No other major transfer business with a useful signing of Facundo Torres who played in behind DCL showing some promise and being highlighted by board and fans as a very good value signing
  4. Does the more you scout the player and learn about him not narrow the range down albeit not to an exact figure which I like
  5. Query wasn’t so much to do with ‘time’ and more to do with ‘age’ - just a thought I’d been having
  6. Love this take on life - looks like I will be carrying on regardless
  7. My relationship with FM goes way back to the days of ‘Champ Manager’ which is in fact the title I still use to this day when talking about the game. Recently, and having just bought FM23, I have began to wonder (and worry!) when will I be “too old” for playing this game. At present I find myself aged 45 with 2 kids, a wife and a middle manager job still finding a few hours per week to escape in to the world of ‘champ’ and am increasingly enjoying this. My son is now a ‘gamer’ and there are times I am slightly embarrassed when he catches me playing on the laptop or as has been the case more recently dipping in to some YouTube content!! My query and internal conflict is when should I stop being a ‘man-child’ and begin to act my age or do I still have more time in the old legs yet to continue developing those lower league sides to CL glory?
